Malene 8, Kobolds 15, Kobold Sorcerer 11

The creatures swarm Malene. They grab at her, clearly attempting to hold her down. [Malene quickness: 13 vs Kobold Strength: 13, 8, 12, 13, 6. Chance to block: 23. Damage: 1] Swinging the broad side of her shield she’s able to beat back most of them, but one little claw manages to dig into her skin.

Another dart wizzes toward Malene. [Kobold Sorcerer: 23 (natural 20) vs Malene: 10. Chance to block: 7] The dart strikes true, getting Malene in the neck just above her bandage. For a moment she doesn’t feel any pain. It doesn’t seem to have done any damage. But then her vision begins to grow fuzzy and she feels hot all over. [Heart dart: +5 horniness and +5 fertility for 4 days]

Malene swings wildly but her vision and her body are betraying her. In the heat of the moment, she swings at the kobold who had hit her [8 vs 20] She misses entirely. Stumbling, she assesses her situation. She’ll need to run if she can make it that far.

The kobolds swarm her again [6 vs 12, 5, 20, 21, 19. Chance to block: 24. Damage: 4] Four of the five land blows on her. Their little claws dig into her and manage to throw her to the ground. With a sickening crack, she lands on her shield arm. She looks at the damage and sees her arm bend where arms aren’t meant to bend. It’s clearly a broken bone. It’s all the more imperative now that she gets herself out of this situation.

The one with the staff chitters some words and Malene feels something tug at her mind. [Will save: 16] Whatever it is, she shakes it off, but only barely.

Malene scrambles to her feet and tries to bolt [11 vs 19, 23 (natural 20), 9, 17, 16] but the creatures hold her down. One even swipes at her broken arm and she screams in pain. [1 damage]

The creatures tear at her again, determined to break her down and make her theirs. This time they come at her with ropes, trying to hold her down. [26 (natural 20) vs 5 (natural 1), 16, 14, 5 (natural 1), 6] Malene swings her sword to beat them back. [11 vs 9, 21, 6, 9, 4 (natural 1). Chance to block: 8, –, 6, 16, 7. Damage: 8, –, 5, 1, 12] In her blind panic, she hits true. She swipes and fully decapitates three of the creatures, leaving two still standing in front of her along with the magic user who had been keeping his distance.

In the face of a now more formidable foe, the sorcerer looks at his compatriots, chitters something, and bolts. Barely standing, Malene doesn’t even chase after him. She stumbles to her feet and swings again, hoping to take out the one she’d wounded but not taken down. [20 vs 20. Chance to block: 20. Damage: 1] She slashes across his chest with her longsword, cutting a deep gash.

The other two apparently take the advice of their leader and bolt into the woods as well. Malene, experiencing blinding pain and blinding arousal in equal measure, lets them go.

She stands alone between the trees now, her shield arm hanging limply by her side with the corpses of three kobolds surrounding her. Limply, she kicks at the bodies, looking for any useful equipment. She finds rope on all three of the bodies, but that’s about it. She takes one length and attempts to find something to splint her broken arm.
