Christmas Sweater

Cathy held out an ugly, knit Christmas sweater. It was brown, green and red with silly cartoon animals knit on it, all with Christmas hats. Lauren blinked at it in shock.

"I... is that it?" Lauren asked.

"Well, I didn't know you'd get gravy all over your underwear!" Cathy pointed out.

"YOU got gravy all over my underwear!" Lauren countered.

Cathy just grinned and shrugged.

"You're a lot shorter than me, it should cover everything." Cathy set down the sweater on the counter.

Then she scooped up Lauren's messy clothes.

"I'll take these to get washed." Cathy said.

"W... wait!" Lauren objected. Her Spanx and padded bra were in there! She couldn't let anyone see those, her secrets would be out!

"Don't worry, it's no trouble!" Cathy said helpfully, taking the clothes and leaving Lauren with nothing to wear but an ugly Christmas sweater...
