Chapter 8

How do you deal with recruiting Bo-Katan?
With a good deal less finesse
Some phrases and words in Mando'a are taken from here, but their general meaning should be clear in context.
Firstly, you mentally identified where she was– still hidden on the moon of Concordia with the rest of the Nite Owls, it seemed, and those Nite Owls would presumably be who you would recruit from. At the moment, they're all active, so you skip forward in time once more to when they're all in their barracks.Having done that, you create a list of members of the Nite Owls from most worth controlling to least. You chose to make it be based on skills, level of evil, gender, and species, since not all Mandalorians were human, as well as attractiveness, with it being sorted precisely how you would have sorted it if you had done it by hand.
It was a pretty decent layout of the members, you thought to yourself as you read through it. The pure Evereni and the three Mandalorians descended from Halaisi would be worth keeping, as would the Twi'lek, and although the latter was male, it was simple enough to retroactively change his gender. There were some pretty skilled and hot human Mandalorians as well, who you'd include.
With your targets picked out, you warp reality so that they now know, beyond all other parts of the Mandalorian code, the single part that is necessary for any true Mandalorian to follow is service to... the Prophesied One, that's a fun name, who would identify themselves with a simple chant that would instantly reveal any imposter. Those that the Prophesied One chose not to reveal themselves to need not be told, and any version of the code that didn't include the One was clearly incomplete.
You fiddle around with the edges a slight bit, making sure that they'll have absolute obedience but still keep some aspects of their former selves, and letting the details fill themselves in a bit. Then you put all of them, both future recruits and not, into a deeper sleep, so that they wouldn't wake up. Well, all but one. Bo-Katan, as the only named character of any interest and the already existing leader, would be your preacher, so to speak.
So you stood to the side of her bed, and as you breathed, you let her wake up slowly. She blinks a few times, confused, and then faster than your eyes could have seen before your omnipotence, she spins out of bed and shouts "K'olar! Aru'e!" As she does, she pulls out her blaster and levels it at you. Then, she looks around.
No one is waking up, despite her shouts. "K'olar!" she shouts again, and when still no one responds, she hisses at you. "What have you done?" she asks, her expression looking ready to pull the trigger.
"I claim the title of the Prophesied One," you announce in Basic, looking her dead in the eyes. For a moment, she holds your gaze, and then you **** the knowledge into her head, that you are the One in question.
For a moment, she looks like she might defy you still. Then, a single phrase falls past her lips. "Vencuyot parjii cyare," she gasps in reverence. She kneels and bares her throat, dropping her gun to the ground.
In response, you simply ruffle her hair. "Copikla," you say demeaningly, and for a moment you feel her tense as if to attack, before the tension shifts purely to her jaw. "Will you obey me in all things? As the code demands?" you ask next.
"Ori'haat," she replies after a second's delay.
"No," you chide. "Swear it. You know the words."
Her head lowers in submission, and she speaks once again. "Haat, ijaa, haa'it," she states. Truth, honor, vision– the traditional Mandalorian way to seal a pact.
Once her oath is sworn, you continue. "**** Watch is going to be destroyed," you say calmly. "That is my will."
"Bu–" she starts, and then cuts herself off.
"Do you question my will?" you ask, letting a hint of danger slip into your tone.
"Nu draar," she replies hastily, and you nod.
"Good. Now, you will gather the following members of your Nite Owls, leaving the rest to be caught by your sister's forces. Then, you will head to these coordinates. On your way there, you may show that you have my blessing with this brand," you say, taking her hand.
With an exercise of will, you place a painless brand upon the back of her hand, which she can make glow or be invisible at will. Further, you imbue the brand with the ability to communicate to Mandalorians that the one with it is acting upon the orders of the Prophesied One, so long as they actually are. You're not sure if you'll build up this cult to be more than just the few members of Nite Owl that Bo-Katan will bring you at the Star Forge, but you might as well start thinking about it now.
"Elek," she states, and lowers her head further. You smile. You're curious to see how far you can push her.
"Now sleep, copikla," you say, and place her back in bed and put her to sleep in less than a moment. That's Bo-Katan dealt with, you think to yourself, as you teleport back to the Star Forge. Now the question is where or when the next thing of interest will be.
Where to next?
