It’s Ria, of course…

Somehow, Kael is unsurprised to find Ria on the other side of the door. Dressed fairly casually in a pair of loose pants and a tight tank top, the athletic redhead grins at him.

“Hey big guy! I didn’t interrupt your welcome home celebration, did I?”

Kael chuckles, shaking his head. “If you had, I wouldn’t have answered the door.”

He steps aside, and Ria walks in. Evie immediately comes over for a hug, clearly happy that Ria is safe. Ria sneaks in a kiss as well, surprising the petite elf and making her blush once again. Separating, they share a smile before Ria turns to Gabby. She looks the holstaur up and down, and then laughs.

“Wow! Has Kael given you a thorough welcome as well?”

If Ria hoped to embarrass Gabby, she failed. Gabby just grins and shakes her head. “Not yet. He said something about wanting to let me get settled in. I’ll admit, I was mostly imagining what these two were doing in the bath earlier…”

Both Kael and Evie blush, and Ria laughs heartily. “You’re going to fit right in here, Gabby! Just in case it wasn’t clear, you have my approval for anything you have in mind.”

Gabby grins. “Evie told me much the same thing.”

Kael shakes his head. “Do I get a say in this?”

Ria turns to him, still smiling. “Oh come on, big guy, you can’t tell me you saw her and didn’t want to climb her like a tree! And if you won’t, I will!”

Gabby laughs. “I certainly won’t complain either way, ma’am!”

Ria raises an eyebrow. “Ma’am? So formal, that’s cute!”

She leans in closer to Kael, whispering loud enough for the others to hear. “I bet it’ll be hot to hear her moaning that too…”

Kael blinks in surprise. “Ria!”

Both Gabby and Evie are laughing now, and Ria shrugs. “Am I wrong, big guy? You can tell they agree with me.”

Kael sighs, smiling despite himself. “I’m not going to argue about it. So, what brings you here, Ria? I figured you’d be resting today.”

Ria gestures towards the door. “The city is celebrating, big guy! It’s a big deal, we won! I’m here to drag you out for the party.”

Kael shakes his head. “You know I don’t really join in that stuff.”

Ria puts her hands on her hips. “What part of dragging you out don’t you understand? You’re coming out to party with me! After all, you’re the hero of the battle, you’ve got to come!”

She looks over at Evie and Gabby. “You two are welcome to join us, of course.”

Gabby shakes her head. “I’ll stay here, if that’s okay. I’m not one for crowds.”

Evie nods. “And I’ll stay too, I’d like to talk with Gabby some more.”

Ria turns back to Kael. “Looks like it’s just you and me, big guy. Come on, everyone is waiting on you!”

Before he can answer, Ria grabs Kael’s hand and pulls him towards the door. He barely has time to wave to Evie and Gabby before he’s dragged outside. Ria smiles at him, giving his hand a squeeze.
