Anna took a deep breath. "Gideon. Do you think it is a good idea to kick out guys like that?"

Gideon gave her a look, "Er I don't see what you mean."

"I mean, that guy tipped me 10 silver. Can we afford to send people like him away?"

"Well if we have men like him taking up space in the tavern we won't get any of the well to do clients that we need."

"Gideon, with respect, I've got a month to earn 100 gold. I can't wait for the tavern's clientel to change."

"Ah I do see your point. Well, as long as you are okay with it. In future just let me know if there are any guys who you just can't put up with any longer. I'll see to it they're shown the exit."

Anna took the earnings, it felt like a lot of money by weight. Of course it was just copper and silver so didn't even amount to 1 gold. But it was a big step up from her position yesterday. As she headed back to her room, she pondered the decision she had made. Was she really willing to go through that just for some extra gold? She sighed, what other option did she have?
