23. She rests undisturbed (2 days left)

As she closes her eyes, she enjoys the silence of the forest and knows she’ll be ready to awake if needed. Luckily it isn’t needed. Malene gets her nightly trance undisturbed. When she opens her eyes it’s still dark and she takes a moment to orient herself by the stars. The river will still lead her directly home and she readies herself to set off.
