You put the remote away for now, simply thinking about further swaps to perform. You were going to wait until the bus arrived at the beach before making any more swaps. You stared out of the window oblivious to the noise and chatting going on on the bus, and oblivious to the swap the remote made when the bus went over a pothole in the road.

The first beam had hit Penina again while the second beam had flown off and targeted Louise.
