Loyd, a crippled soldier

Loyd looked on out the window of his old cottage. Few months ago he was on the top of the world, serving his country, but then he got injured. He didn't like to think of the details. He always suspected he would eventually be injured in the line of duty, but he never imagined that it would be by his own allies.

"Are you okay Loyd?" a sickeningly sweet voice cooed by the door, viciously teasing him, "you look bothered"

He kept staring out the window, ignoring the voice. But he couldn't move even if he wanted to. The owner of the voice sauntered forward to meet him and continue to taunt. A sudden kick to the side of his chair and Loyd found himself lying helplessly on the floor. His eyes looked on only seeing the heels of his assailant. They merely laughed in delight at his vulnerability. He struggled to move, but it was all futile. He was merely there for amusement.

"Madame"

Another voice called out outside. Quickly, Loyd found himself being helped up and placed back on his chair.

"Yes," the one called 'madame' finally answered, "I'll be down in just a second. I'm just checking Loyd"

Once she was sure the hired help had left she turned to Loyd with a frown.

"Well... I have to be going," she told Loyd, "I'll be back to have more fun later"

She chuckled as she placed a kiss on his cheek. She kissed hard, leaving a red print on his face. Soon she left and Loyd could only stay seething in his chair.

"That was amusing"

A new voice could suddenly be heard, laughing.

"Oh great... what now," Loyd thought.

"Relax. I come in peace"

Before Loyd's eyes appeared a new woman, or at last she looked like one. There was something off about her, something unnatural that placed Loyd on edge.

"I am Christina," The woman introduced, "a witch."

"A witch... as if one wasn't bad enough," he thought.

"How rude... I am much better than that woman," Christina admonished.

"Wait...you can hear me?" he realized, still talking in his head.

"Oh yes. I can... one of my perks, if you will," she explained.

"So what do you want?" he asked her, "I can't exactly give you anything"

"Oh but my dear Loyd, you can," she chuckled, "you see I am a bit of a creative genius. I've made lots of things in my time and I would like you to help me test one of my newest creations"

"What's in it for me?"

He questioned. Sure, he might not have much to lose, but could he really trust a witch?

"I'm glad you ask," Christina said as she revealed her creation, "this is the Symbiote I made"

There was a transparent container on her hand, seemingly magically appearing out of nowhere. Inside, there was a weird blob of goop that moved and pulsed in an eerie manner. The witch then went on into the details of her creation.

"So it's simple. You bond with my symbiote, become its primary host, and I observe what happens," she told him, "as for what you do next, it's none of my concern. If my creation allows you to walk once more, and you use it to take **** or simply enjoy life, who am I to judge? So long as you don't turn against me, we won't have any issues"

"Is this for real?" he asked, still in disbelief by it all.

"Why would I lie? Why would I need to deceive you when you are already in such a... state?" she implored.

"Alright then.... deal," Loyd finally said.

Christina cracked the container with the symbiote and then tossed it towards him. It landed on his lap, and the black goo quickly escaped from its captivity and quickly made its way to consume him.
