18. Someone has been through recently and left a cache

She nearly squeals with delight when she sees what’s been left inside. A fresh pack with rations, torches, a bedroll and more sits in the corner covered haphazardly with some sticks in a failed attempt to hide the cache of supplies. Arleth doesn’t care who might have left it and whether they would be coming back, this was her’s now. She nearly jumped for joy at the other thing at the bottom of the pack: clothes.

Arleth hurriedly dresses, hoping whoever left this behind doesn’t come back while she’s vulnerable like this. The tunic stretches somewhat obscenely over her ample chest, but she doesn’t care. She’s at least covered. She slings the pack over her shoulder and decides to get out of dodge before she’s caught.
