Mabelle's new look

Looking over the various shopping bags sitting on the bed, Mabelle let out a sigh.

"This is so overwhelming." the elderly coordinator thought, resisting the urge to pull all her clothes out from her wardrobe and put the new stuff in. No, that could come later. Right now, she needed to get changed.

Stripping out of her clothes, she threw them all in the pile. While a garbage was no doubt in order, that could come once she had pulled all her old clothes out and in turn, put in her new clothes.

Turning back to the shopping bags, Mabelle wasted little time in finding her new undergarments.

"I'm so excited." the elderly coordinator thought as she slipped on her granny panties and bra. Following it up with the garter belt and the titular garters, she took the time to get it all looking straight and clean. Wouldn't want Carol thinking she that she was purposefully letting herself go easy on this new look.

With that now out of the way, Mabelle pulled out a floral dress. Holding it up above her head, she pulled it down with ease. Smoothing it out as well, the temptation to stare into the mirror very much hung in the air. While tempted to resist the urge, Mabelle let it take hold.

Heading over to the mirror, the elderly coordinator stared in. A wannabe elderly woman stared back, dressed like she was going to spend the day around the house. A perfect outfit for her.

"Yet, there's something missing." Mabelle thought as she pulled her gaze away. Taking a moment to think it over, it felt obvious in retrospect. She needed to think like an old woman if she was to be an old woman. Best to start now and work her way through, ridding herself of the traces of May that stubbornly hung on.
