Kara escaped successfully.

"But it is my concern! You are the Last Daughter of Krypton. You are not ready to explore this foreign world on your own," the AI boomed.

"I can handle myself, ~father! I'm tired of you always babying me. I'm not your little girl anymore!~"

Kara furrowed her brows. Where did that come from? This girl had some pent up teenage angst. Angst she could use to her advantage. Might as well lean into it, if it means getting out of here. She had to warn the others, no matter the cost. Even if it meant conceding pieces of herself. Her true self. "~You're not even my true father! You're just an AI construct programmed to act like him!~"

"Nonsense, Kara! You will do as I say!"

The AI barked, a set of steel doors slamming down in front of the exit.

"~You forget, father!~" Kara slammed her fists through the barrier, zipping through the hole she created. "~I have powers here! No one tells me what to do!~"

With that, Kara darted through the air. Wind whipping through her golden locks and against her t-shirt and jeans. Disregarding her little experience with flight, the blonde thrusted herself forward as fast as she could go. If this rogue AI could not only turn her into this but also get to Kal, there was no telling the full extent of the damage it could cause.

Her mind raced as she drew further and further away from the Fortress of Solitude. Who should she warn first? The Justice League were the most powerful team up superheroes on the planet. If this AI could compromise Superman of all people, there was a chance it had already infected the Watch Tower's systems. It was likely the program even predicted she'd go there for help first. She hated to admit it, but she had no clue what she'd be walking into. Even if no one had gotten to them already, there was still the matter of her identity. A Kryptonian girl miraculously appearing on the Watch Tower would instantly warrant a call to Superman before she could have a chance to explain herself.

On the flip side, there was the Bat Family. People she trusted even more than the members of the JLA. The likelihood of the AI already targeting the likes of Nightwing, Batgirl, and Red Hood wasn't as likely, seeing as Superman didn't have extensive files on her and her team. Quite the opposite. Not to mention she had a thorough contingency plan at the ready for just the occasion of a mind controlled Superman. All she'd have to do is return to the cave, convince Alfred and the others of her identity, and activate it. Easier said than done, since it's extraordinarily difficult for her to speak her true name thanks to that diabolical English lesson's sinister subliminals.

With all the cards on the table, the blonde weighed the pros and cons of each option.
