Gather forces

Following weeks were filled with tantric rituals, demon needed that power. He needed it to summon allies from another dimensions, to teleport the best part of his forces from the Arlain's front to setup more magical traps around his fortress. He as getting ready for a war, and he as happy. Another war, much more challenging and fun that one with puny humans. It's the best thing to fight the boredom that haunts every demon in the world

He didn't forget about Mira, he visited her in times of rest. Not to corrupt, because corruption of her pure soul and strong mind is not an easy task and need energy that required for the war. Not to have sex, because even incubus can get tired of lust after hours long orgies with dozens of slaves. He came to Mira because somehow, talking with her helped him to rest. Soon, they talked almost exclusively about upcoming battle. Mira is a brilliant strategist and made many good advices and once more she deserved Marus' admiration. He never expected that a mere mortal can be so smart.

As for Mira, she learned so much about demon forces from this talks that if she manage to run away, she may use all that information and turn tide of the war. But Paladin's mind was filled with totally different thoughts. She felt that she is falling in love with the demon, his short visits made her happy in that prison. In their strategical discussions he was the only one that understood her so quickly. And she was filled with desire, every visit aroused her more and more, even when the demon visited her in his true form. Paladin fought with this feelings, she was sure that it's Marus' magic, that she can't love a demon. The truth was that demon did absolutely nothing to her

At last, the day of the battle has came, Marus visited Mira one last time before going to the walls and make the last preparations before Taracus' ****. Paladin greeted him with one question that worried her the most " Marus " she said " I understand that you are lesser evil, is there anything that I can do to help you win the battle?
