The Bride

"I'm picking up for the bride," John said.

Petra grinned a toothy grin, "Excellent. We were expecting you. If you would please follow me I would like to show you to the pick up area on the top floor.

"Will this take long?" asked John.

"Not at all," responded Petra as she straightened her name tag. "It doesn't take long to get to the 4th floor.

Petra walked John by a row of gowns. "Be careful," she said. "I'm not sure what might have been let loose out in there."

John laughed, but stopped when he realized that Petra wasn't.

"It's fine, dear," she said, "Just a joke."

John looked over the racks of dresses and wondered if maybe she was right...
