A date!

The two of them probably looked like a tourist couple, a weird fashion choice for the current season, giggling amongst themselves, looking around with wonder, and in general just a bit… carefree?

Lana hugged Davin’s big arm as they walked through the cheap department store. It’s always fun to pick out clothes for him because he’ll say yes to whatever Lana picks, even if it’s a matching couple t-shirt of a super niche show.

Luckily they didn’t JUST buy that, Davin needed a lot of new clothes after all. So they just bought the biggest t-shirt they can find and bought a whole box of it! It was a bit funny to see one of the employees try to measure Davin, too tall for her and she had to get a whole stool.

Now comes the difficult part though, Lana’s underwear

Lana has always hated going to the women’s section of the department store, why can’t it just be all mixed? Davin always assured her that she belongs there if she wants, but she just never had the courage to do it…

Davin let Lana hold his arm a bit longer, her knees slightly shaking in nervousness while she looked on to the dozens of beautiful girly clothes she always wanted to wear.

“Go ahead Lana” Davin told her gently, “if it’s okay for you back then, it’s okay for you now”

But Lana shook her head

Davin didn’t argue and just patted her head, “It’s okay, we can always buy some online, right?”

But as they turned around, a lady in the store’s uniform greeted them with a warm smile, “Is there anything I can help you with, sir? Miss?”

Davin looked at Lana, hoping she would answer, but he saw her just processing being called ‘miss’ by someone she doesn’t know, and Davin is not gonna ruin that moment for her.

“My girlfriend needs a new bra, but she’s not sure of her new size” Davin answered confidently, “Right, Lana?”

Lana simply nodded

“Oh that’s okay!” The kind lady smiled, “I can help measure you out”

“T-that would be lovely actually” Lana finally spoke, “I don’t know how to do that at all”

Davin just smiled as he saw Lana so happily walk to the women’s section, like a kid going to Disneyland for the first time. Davin stayed in the back, watching from the distance as Lana asks EVERYTHING about girl clothes to the lady, which type of bra is best for her, what kind of skirt goes well with which blouse, should she buy some pants? Outer layers of clothes? How many does she need? But despite all her confusion, she’s unquestionably happy

By the time she's done, she's bringing 4 big bags full of clothes. Not that Davin minds, she's been saving money for years now, she deserves to splurge a bit. Davin took her bags and brought them for her after they both paid for them.

"Thank you so much Davin" Lana whispered while they walked home with their haul,"for making me like this"

"Of course sweetie" He answered with his usual soft voice, "I'm not sure if I'm the one who did it though hahah"

“Cmonn take the credit” Lana teased, “Even if none of this happened, I would still be happy just being with you”
