A few weeks later

Lana sat happily in the small cafe, her white sweater wrapped her snuggly in the relatively cold evening. The warm cup of decaf coffee is already half full as she drinks another sip.

In front of her is an old friend of hers, a girl by the name of Kassandra, or Kass for short.

Kass is what you would call the exact opposite of Lana, with their only thing in common being both trans girl

If Lana is girly, small, soft spoken, and in general more passive. Kass is boyish, big, talks loud and in general more proactive

Kass's whole body probably rivals Davin's old body in terms of height and weight, a slightly chubby, slightly built tall girl. Compared to Lana’s old body, Kass definitely pass more as a girl, but it’s not like she’s particularly pretty. She’s like some of those athletes in the olympics, sometimes more scary than pretty and sexy, but definitely an eye catcher

"The fuck did you do in the last month Lana!?" Kass half shouted when she sees her friend’s body

"I-I mean, i started hrt like you suggested" Lana let out an awkward laugh

“Aaa that’s unfairr” Kass complained, “I started before with you and I still look like.. This!”

“What do you mean? You look amazing!” Lana tried to persuade her, “like.. A cool athletic big sis”

Kass sighed… She’s not *that* wrong, Kass does look athletic, and in a certain light, some could perhaps see her as cool. But… It still hurts to still get weird looks whenever she tries to live her life as a girl,

“Just… you’re so pretty now” Kass sighed in defeat, “I mean, I’m happy for you but still!”

Lana looked down, she understood how Kass felt, and she knows how hard it hurts…

“Anyway!” Kass clapped her hands together, trying to lighten the mood like she usually does, “That’s not really important! Let’s finally catch up”

Lana was a bit shocked by her sudden mood shift, but she follows her lead, she doesn’t want to talk about anything Kass is uncomfortable about. Talking about how Lana finally has the courage to buy fem clothes, how Kass just got a new job that finally allows her to present fem, how Lana can’t really boy mode anymore, and how kass still struggles to girl mode. They’re both happy to have accepted their transness, but it’s not without struggle

But… hearing all of Kass’s story, Lana felt bad… It’s one thing to see your friend struggle, another thing to not try and help them…

When they both part ways, Lana has already gathered her resolve, she *will* try to help Kass
