Does Jason notice that Haley's not technically dressed?
Underdressed or overdressed?
Jason leaned against the doorpost with a single hand, staring at the 'dress' in confusion. "Haley, aren't you-?"
Haley felt her heart sink to her stomach at light speed, sweat started flowing down her back. "Look, I can expla-".
"A little overdressed?"
"Yes, and I'm- eh?"
"Don't you remember? We were going to the carnival."
Haley slapped her forehead in embarrassment. She spent so long figuring out what to wear on the date, that she completely forgot where the date was. "I'm sorry, I totally spaced out."
"Eh, it's alright. It's not like that your dress isn't looking great. You ready?"
"So, where do you want to go first?" Asked Jason as they strolled the fairgrounds.
"Hmm, I feel like going to the haunted house, I'd love a nice trill." Grinned Haley, already having plenty of trills.
In reality, she really can't stand scares of any kind, as it made her sweat heavily. She just needed to be away from the crowds for a minute, and the haunted house seemed relatively empty.
"Okay, my little trill junkie." Spoke Jason, as they walked towards the haunted house.
