What will you do on these ruins covered in ash?

You try to carefully search the area and find something useful.

You see ash, dirt, burnt wood. You understand that you have little chance of finding something useful. After all, over the past night, local residents took away everything valuable that they could notice.

But you **** yourself to continue trying to find at least something that may be useful to you in the future.

While you were looking, you noticed a charred and opened safe that belonged to the owner of the tavern. Of course, this safe is now empty. The money that was there will now please someone else and not you.

Suddenly you notice a faint, barely noticeable shine. You carefully remove the trash and you flick the ashes off the thing to the side.

So, congratulations to you! Your return to the tavern ruins was not in vain. You have found a thin elven dagger, the metal of which has a silvery tint. If you look closely, you may notice that this dagger glows faintly.

You think that this dagger might be something like an amulet around your neck. Perhaps these items are similar due to the fact that they were made in the same area? However, now you have no time to think about it.

You tucked the dagger into your belt and walked away from the ruins. You walk along the road, you move away from the city of Skelweerd.

Now you need to decide where exactly you will go. You consider your options.

Option one: you can go north. You will have to walk through hilly terrain. Do you remember that in the tavern one of the visitors told you that this road goes to a large fortified city called Teinlund. And you also remember that the closer you get to the city of Teinlund, the colder the climate will become due to the cold winds that blow from the Greyhead Mountains.

Option two: you can go south. This road will mainly go through flat lands. You will encounter many farms, fields of wheat, and cattle pastures. This road reaches the city of Onteria. You heard from the chatter in the tavern that Onteria is a large port city, which is a trading center and is of great importance for the food market in the region. And you also heard that the city of Onteria is distinguished by huge slums that surround rich quarters, fortified by walls.

Option three: you can go east. If you choose this path, you will travel through vast forest areas. There are no large cities in these territories. You don’t remember the names of the few small towns that are located in these forests. All you know is that in these territories there will be no crowded and busy trade routes, there will be many trees and bushes, there will be several rivers that will probably have to be forded.

Option four: you can now turn around and go to the port quarter of the city of Skelweerd. You don’t really want to return to the city of Skelweerd, even for a short time. But you have to admit that this option contains certain advantages. Firstly: traveling by sea is much faster than walking on land. Secondly: if you somehow manage to find a ship in the port quarter, the owner of which agrees to allow you to stay on board, then many additional points for movement will open before you. After all, from the port, ships sail to a variety of places. You can only guess where exactly the ships will sail from the port of Skelweerd today. In any case, you know the generally known information that the capital of the Sacred Kingdom of Orlania (the city of Agnerta) is located on one of the large islands among the archipelagos to the west of the continent.
