He answers back…and he is crying

“erm…good morning” – John answered. He had tears in his eyes and looked terrible.

“Are you ok, man?” – Asked Jake, sincerely concerned.

“No, I am not, my wife left me yesterday. She said I am useless now” – explained John

“useless now?” – asked Jake pretending he did not understand what he meant.

“It’s a long story, man, so sorry for venting it out with you but I do not have friends in this city” – Said John.

“If you need to vent you can come to my apartment this afternoon or we can go to the pub” – offered Jake.

“To be honest, that would be great. I do not even know you but I need to speak to somebody and you look nice enough. By the way, my name is John and I live in apartment 4A” – John said.

“I am Jake, I am in apartment 3A. You can come any time from 6.00 p.m.” – Said John

“I will, thank you” – answered John, still in tears but calmer.

Jake started to think that maybe he went to far with John. This night he will have the chance to know him more and decide what to do.
