Plant ideas

James looked at Jessica, still holding the ancient book, with a glint of curiosity in his eyes. "You know, 'Plant Ideas' sounds intriguing. Let's give it a try."

Jessica, though a bit disappointed that he didn't choose a different spell, but nodded in agreement. She took a deep breath and began to recite the incantation in Latin, the ancient words rolling off her tongue with a certain grace. At least those Latin classes were good for something, Jessica thought.

As the last syllable hung in the air, they waited in anticipation, but nothing seemed to change. The room remained still, the air holding its breath.

Jessica turned to James, a mixture of curiosity and concern in her eyes. "Did it work? James, do you feel any different?" She couldn't help but wonder if the spell had taken hold in some subtle, unseen way.

"Nah." James groaned as he felt disappointed. "Guess it's just a dumb book, Jess."

Jessica tried to decipher what the spell was supposed to do. "Maybe you are doing it wrong. Here, it says you should focus and try to plan an idea in someone's mind. Huh." She reads a few more words and looks back at him. "Give it a try on me. Think about anything and will see if it works."

James thought for a second and came up with a pretty lewd idea. 'Jessica wants to pinch her left nipple right now.' He focused his best, holding his breath as he was planting a seed into her mind.

James opened his eyes at that to see his sister pinching her nipple while sighing softly. "Ouch!" Jessica gasped and released her hand, but James' mouth formed a large 'O' as what he witnessed was definitely the result of his power!

"Hmm… Did it work?" Jessica asked, not knowing that what she did was under the power of her step-brother's suggestion.
