Stopping some Bullies

As I walked up the giant sets of stairs in Mesagoza, I noticed a familiar group of people blocking the way up... except there was more then there were in the game.
In the game there was just two Team Star members causing trouble, trying to bully Penny, but now im seeing at least 10 girls dressed in Team Star grunt uniforms. Penny was being surrounded by them and they seem to be trying to strip her, she looks genuinely scared. Penny was always one of my favorite characters, she was so damn adorable, while I lusted after several of the other female characters, she was the one I would want to Date if given the choice.
I ran over and try to get the Grunt's attention.
"What is going on here?" I yell, one hand on Honey's pokeball. A few of the Grunts look in my direction.
"Well, Well, Well, it looks like somebody is trying to play hero, don't you know who we are? Now scram unless you want the full **** of Team Star to come down on your head." One of the older ones says, trying to look intimidating. I have beaten this team so many times that all it does is make me laugh.
"Are you laughing at me, you little punk, that's it! Ill put you in your place." She says, taking out a Pokeball and calling out a Houndoom. This was far stronger then I expected, but I can't back down now if Penny is in danger. I send out Honey.
Honey looks at whats going on and her face becomes serious, her stance changing to a hostile one immediately. Once again she acts without me needing to command her, reading my thoughts on what she needs to do. She floats over to the Houndoom and uses Draining Kiss on her, but is hit with a Fire Fang in return, doing slightly more damage then what is healed from the kiss. The Houndoom seems to be faster now as it quickly follows the Fire Fang up with Beat Up, and while it isnt very effective, it still has Honey trapped under it and is repeatedly punching her in the face. We are at a major disadvantage in level here, if its doing that much damage with a move that is not very effective. Honey is taking to much damage so I put Honey back in her ball. Nothing I currently have can take down a Dark/Fire type of this level.
"What is going on here!" I hear somebody yell from the school entrance, Nemona charging down the sidewalk. When she sees the Houndoom out she grabs a Pokeball from the 6 that are now on her belt and calls out a Lycanrock, probably a pokemon on her Champion team, and it starts charging the Houndoom.
"You guys were supposed to be off the School Grounds, you were expelled last year!"
"Well if it isnt Battle Hungry Nemona, why are you even still here, you graduated last year!" The Houndoom's trainer yells back. The Lycanrock and Houndoom are fighting neck and neck, it looks rather vicious, their teeth biting into eachother's necks.
I let Nemona handle this as I put my focus on Penny, who I notice is getting pushed around as the weaker grunts are trying to get away from the brawl now that Nemona showed up, not having the Bravado of their older ally. I start running towards her as I see her getting pushed closer and closer towards the edge of the landing we are on.
I didn't make it in time. While my hand was about to catch her arm she gets knocked over the edge by a stray elbow. I don't have time to think as I jump down after her, catching her midair and putting myself under her as we land on one of the food stalls below, thankfully the cloth covering breaking the fall a little before it breaks under us.
I move slightly, trying to look to see if Penny is ok, only for a spike of pain to shoot through my left shoulder and arm, where I had landed with her on top of me. Her eyes are closed tight as she is curled up on top of me, probably having thought she was about to die. I only just see her eyes open and look at me with shock and worry before I pass out from the pain.
