Chapter 9 Splitting Up

After finishing up in the shower. You both sit down at the small table in the room. The goodies you ignored earlier in the fridge turned out to be various frozen meals. Whilst not being the finest cuisine you've ever had, they certainly weren't cheap imitations of food. The league took great care to ensure both Pokémon and their trainers got proper nutrition.

Speaking of which, you both receive a notice that your Pokémon are ready. Typically a healing machine only needs a few minutes to heal Pokémon, but when you are staying the night and especially if you are new Pokémon centers and nurses tend to watch over them for a bit. To ensure their health is okay and to scan them while they are in stasis. The healing machines provide much more than just physical rehabilitation, they also can track the mood and mental state of Pokémon. If a trainer is inexperienced or abusive the nurses will know and can take proper action.

When you both arrive at the front desk the duty nurse shows you to a small pokelounge for younger stage one Pokémon. You peer through the window and see Treeko and Torchic happily munching away on their breakfasts. They even look like they are chatting to each other and the sight reminds you of yours and Saphs casual chats.

You stand there in the window for a few minutes simply admiring your partners. They seem to get along well. It's almost sad you're going to have to split them up in a minute.

With their meal done they both seem to notice you outside the window.

They stand up nod and begin making their way to the door.

You and Saph open it and are greeted by your companions.

"You two look like such great friends already" Saph exclaims. "Though it hurts to say this we have to split up for a bit so it might be a few days that you won't see each other."

The two starters look at each other and nod again. Seemingly wishing each other a farewell in pokespeak.

The little Torchic jumps into their trainers arms. While Treeko climbs up and on your pack.

You all exit the Pokémon center together and walk to the center of Oldale.

"I guess this is where we have to split for now" you say.

"Yup but you better believe once I'm done with this mystery Pokémon I'm charging ahead to Rustboro to catch up" Saph says with a smile.

"You better I'm not waiting around for a slowpoke forever"

"You'll wait as long as I want because I know you want this." She gestures to her body.

"Take care you idiot" you say with a laugh

"You too dumbass"

With that you two part ways…………for now.

Author's Note: Hey all I haven't been writing that much recently hence why this is so short. I haven't started on the next chapter either. I wanna keep a slowish pace in this story to allow me to develop stuff. I had this whole plan and ideas for stuff coming later that I lost focus on the now. I'm gonna start this next chapter today and slowly work out how much I want it to contain. Still more battles and sexy times in the coming chapters. Will probably write a paragraph or two after AnnabelleHawthorne Releases her next chapter in Home For Horny Monsters…..if you haven't read that one go look it up on Literotica or her Patreon.
