How Does Harley Quinn Respond?

"What!?" Lois Lane's eyes went wide. "But...I'm not...I can't have a baby!"

"Had your tubes tied?" Poison Ivy said.

The reporter turned to look at the plant woman, as a warm waft of floral fragrance hit her face. It smelled to Lois a bit like marijuana and exotic flowers, and made her blink, suddenly dizzy.

"No..." Lois admitted, the truth spilling out before she could lie.

Harley Quinn moved out of the reporter's sight, as Lois Lane found herself unable to look away from Poison Ivy's green eyes.

"Anything wrong with your reproductive tract?" Ivy insisted. "Ovarian cancer? Cysts?"

"Not...not that I'm aware of," Lois said, and then felt obliged to add. "I get my period regularly. The last time was like, ten days ago."

"What a coincidence," Ivy said as she drew closer. The reporter's vision had narrowed until Lois couldn't see anything except her face. "So was Harley's. You should both be ovulating."

"But I...I don't...I was going...to have...Superman's...baby..." Lois felt warm skin and muscle press against her larynx. It suddenly became much harder to breathe...and then Harley Quinn's hand pressed gently on the back of the reporter's skull.

"Don't worry. We're gonna be baby bump buddies," the Clown Princess of Crime whispered. "And after we give birth, we'll see who can lose the baby weight the fastest! It'll be a race."

"Urk. Urkk." Lois managed as the darkness closed in...and she saw Poison Ivy smile. There was a syringe in her hand, filled with white.

Then the darkness claimed her.
