Dimly, blinking through the dust that blinded her, Lois turned to see who was talking.

An unnaturally pale figure stood there, in red-and-black hotpants and matching halter top, stars over each nipple. Her pale hair, shot through with pink and blue, was separated into pigtails, a tight black choker gripped her neck.

Lois swallowed. Harley Quinn. The Joker's former partner.

Poison Ivy sighed. "You said you weren't interested."

"I said I wasn't ready for kids yet!" Harley shot back. The blonde glanced at Lois. "Who's the incubator?"

Ivy shrugged. "One of Blaze's whores. Wandered in here. She's clean though."

"Hi. I'm Lois," the reporter said. "I'm not actually a sex worker..."

"You're about to be a surrogate," Ivy said, who still held the reporter's pollen-covered hand above her pussy. "What do you say, Harley? Can we keep her?"

The blonde tsked and walked over to Lois. The crazy woman squatted down on her haunches, staring into the reporter's eyes.

"I dunno Red. It's a big responsibility. Although I have to say, I wouldn't mind somebody else losing their figure..."

Lois licked her lips, sensing an opening.

"Sounds like you ladies have commitment issues."

The reporter felt Ivy tense up.

"I mean, if Ivy impregnates me, then it's not really your baby, is it?" Lois said. "You can just walk away, claim the kid isn't yours..."

"She has a point," Ivy said. "If you really loved me, you'd let me impregnate you."

"Aaaaugh!" Harley groaned. "What did I just say! You know what pregnancy would do to my body?"

"It doesn't have to!" Lois said, voice a little frantic. "I mean, you'll gain a little weight, but you can still keep in shape, and with dieting and exercise you can be back in fighting trim in no time. I heard that Catwoman..."

"Bitch," Harley muttered.

"...was able to get back in shape in six weeks! I mean, unless you think you can't do it..." Lois suggested.

"Anything that bitch can do I can do ten times better! I could have fucking triplets and be back down to fightin' weight in five weeks!"

Lois smiled. "Prove it."
