Bedrooms and teams

(Blanche POV)

"I'll take you to your rooms, but you'll be divided into teams of 2, with the Master having his own room, of course." Nola said.

Blanche thought for a moment about who she preferred to end up with. Jessica was out of the question. That spoiled brat thought the whole world was her owe. Blanche doubted she worked more than one day in her life.

"Because on top of that I'm going to have to share my room. You've seen the size of this hotel, it's absurd." Jessica criticized.

Really, there was nothing to be done. She couldn't seem to keep her mouth shut voluntarily. Blanche caught herself thinking that it would be nice if Nola could stop her talking again. She regretted the thought almost immediately, but frankly it would be nice to have a bit of silence and less rudeness.

"The first pairing will be Eric and Jessica; you'll be the Angel and Demon team." Said Nola.

Phew, at least Blanche was sure she wasn't with her. Then she felt a little sorry for Eric. He was the only person she knew a little about in this show apart from Leo, of course.

"The second pairing will be Hanna and Abigail; you'll be Team Communication." Nola continued.

“Team Communication” mused Blanche. What could be said was that there was a certain irony in seeing how stressed the young writer was.

"And finally, as you'll have guessed, the Doctor team with Blanche and Daphne," Nola finished.

Blanche and Daphne looked at each other before nodding in mutual respect and understanding. Afterwards, they would talk alone in their rooms.

"I refuse to be with that bookworm dressed in white," said Jessica.

"I'm afraid there's no other option, and unless someone volunteers to take his place, you'll have to stay with him," replied the hostess.

Blanche then looked around at the other contestants to see if anyone would volunteer, but clearly no one wanted to end up with Jessica.

"It looks like everyone's happy with their pairings, so you're going to keep yours Jessica. Then as for the week's program, you'll each have a date with the master, then in the evening you'll sleep with him in his suite. This is non-negotiable, it's a staple of every Harem Hotel season and it's not about to change." Nola declared.

Eric then raised his hand as if to speak. You could tell he was still at school, Blanche thought.

"Do you have a question, my angel?" Nola asked.

"Can you elaborate on what you call a date and what falls into that category?" Eric asked.

Indeed, with this show, we could expect everyone to ask just as many questions, Blanche mused.

"You are completely free to do the activity of your choice. If you want to go to New York and visit the city, that's possible. If you'd rather have a romantic dinner at the top of the Tour Effel, that's fine too. Just ask me and I'll send you to the place of your choice under the conditions of your choice." Said the hostess.

Eric seemed satisfied with this answer and fell back into his reverie.

"I'll now show you to your rooms if you don't mind." Said Nola.

After that, they set off in the direction of the hotel, walking for a few minutes before arriving at a red door, which Nola hastened to open.

"Team Angel and Demon, you have the red room" Says the Leprechaun.

"Why is there only one bed?" Jessica asked, or rather yelled.

"Oh, I forgot to mention there's only one double bed per room." Nola replied.

Before Jessica could reply, Nola led the rest of the group a few dozen meters further. And stopped in front of a green door.

"Let me guess, the green room?" said Daphne sarcastically.

"I'm delighted to see that you and I understand each other so well, my dear Daphne" replied Nola, before opening the door.

"This room belongs to the communications team." Says Nola.

"Which means, if I'm right, we're getting a Blue room," says Blanche.

"Am I that predictable already?" asked Nola.

The whole group answered in unison, "Yes".

Nola then led Blanche and Daphne towards the blue room.

Blanche looked at the room in which she would be spending her future nights. To say the least, it lived up to its name. Nola left them in silence, saying she was going to show Leo the luxurious Master suite. She found herself alone with the young woman whose name seemed to be Daphne. Daphne was staring at her intensely, each of them wondering what to say. It was the student who was the first to break the silence.

"Nice tail. It's surprisingly harmonious with the rest. No wonder Cat Girls are so popular."

Blanche smiled at this. The young woman had a sense of humor.

"Yes, I think I could get used to living with these ears and tail. I never thought I'd get that sentence out of my life. I imagine this is an exceptional day for all of us." Blanche says wearily.

"To put it mildly, this day is crazy! How did I end up in my best friend's harem?" Says Daphne.

"Tell yourself that at least you know him a little. I mostly know his father, mother, and sister. I couldn't have spoken to him for more than 10 hours in the 10 years we've known each other." Blanche explained.

Daphne chose this moment to collapse full-length onto the bed. She then raised her head to look the doctor in the eye and asked.

"Do you think I have a chance of keeping my promise and getting out of this show?"

Blanche was taken aback by the question and hesitated before answering.

"In all honesty, I don't know. I haven't the slightest idea of what strategy to adopt. So, I don't see myself giving you any advice. All I can say is listen to your heart. The practice of medicine has taught me a lot, and I've seen things that most people would call abominable, but I've also seen real miracles. While science and our knowledge would have condemned the patient to **** by a twist of fate, he survived. To this day, I can't explain it. I learned several things that day, firstly that miracles do exist, even though they are very rare, and secondly that you have to believe in them if you want them to happen."
