At the Wedding Pt 16

"Yeehaw!" "Hoooo!" "Gitalong!"

Walt chuckled as the girls were having fun... he was too. This was actually pretty mild trouble. But that didn't mean it wasn't dangerous either for people and animals. He saw some cornered kids and pointed. "Friday. Ilulu."

(("Understood, Boss."))

Ilulu came running over to the kids smiling like everything was just fine. The raptors blinked and bit her changing targets for the plump and juciy looking one. Then blinked again in surprise as their teeth couldn't penetrate her. Several lost teeth actually. Ilulu laughed. "Hey don't be fresh." She knocked them away with a tail slap before gently scooping up the children and toddling off.

He smiled. A few minor hiccups aside it was going well. His ladies were prioritizing safety and then containment. Still there'd been some damage... mostly to the venue.

Pyrrha had used her semblance to rip a large section of the stadiums bleacher seats free. Raven, Glynda, and other telekinetic users assembled them into position. Meanwhile Nora and other super strength users pounded the large temporary corals driving them into the ground with super strength. Nigh invulnerable characters like Ilulu and Senko were going around and rescuing children and people stuck in tough spots.

There was another explosion and fire and smoke from the other end of the venue. Walt shook his head. It was a Gardner wedding party alright. He hoped Charles would be ok with the stadium getting a bit messed up.

He saw one of the larger raptors being a particular pain and stubbornly giving the girls some trouble. "That one's next Teddy! Hah!" They rode that direction as he started swinging the lariat releasing in a Houlihan throw. It went tight around the Raptors head and it wasn't happy. It turned to head Walt's direction but Penny tossed her rope just like she'd been practicing catching it too. They pulled it tight and brought it to the ground. Walt dismounted and, being mindful of the talons, tied it up securely. "There... now you behave yourself you troublemaker." He told the yellow-brown colored dinosaur.

Walt looked around. Dispite the dinosaurs, fires and the loss if half the buffet it wasn't too bad all things considered. (Nora and Sasha would beg to differ. The pancake station and baked potato bar were wrecked and they were still fighting through tears.)

Penny rode over looking at him. "You stopped smiling and are frowning, Walt. What is wrong?"

Neo did the same handing him Teddy's reigns. 'Trouble?' She signed.

Walt climbed back up on Teddy and nodded once. "I think so... things aren't as bad as I was expecting. My gut's telling me this wasn't "it". Friday tell everyone to stay sharp. Once we finnish rounding up the varmints they'll likely continue the festivities."

(("Understood, Boss. I shall have 3S evacuation and medical personnel standing by at the rendezvous points."))

Walt nodded. "Yeah you read my mind. Put everyone on standby into high alert readiness. Same as this. Priorty is safety and protection. If things get worse we'll play defense while the Gardners defend their home and then 3S bats clean-up... have our Aces standing by just incase."

(("Understood, Boss."))

"You are rather good at this." Penny said. "Have you dealt with these creatures much before?"

Walt chuckled. "Quite a bit actually. The boys were really into dinosaurs as kids. Chuck told them about some of the fossils I had dug up as a kid on the ranch. So we had fun doing that as they picked my brain... then they asked me about all my experiences with actual dinosaurs on my adventures so when they went on their jurassic adventures Chuck and Dee asked me to be their 'expert'. Good times."

They watched the others as they pushed the herd back their way. Lydia rode up joining them. "We have a small problem, my Lord!"

Walt looked at the direction she pointed and sighed. Ahnassi, Blake and Sienna were defending/harassing a poor sabertooth tiger that gotten out of the pet tent keeping it at bay from a big tuna fish they'd 'claimed' as their prize judging from the way Kali was clutching at it. "We've lost the cat girls..." he waved to Yang to get her attention. "Hey!"

Yang looked back from where she was monitoring the situation and fighting off raptors from joining in on that mess. She waved as Friday transmited. "Heya! What's up?"

Walt chuckled. "The girls are going nuts?"

Yang laughed and punched a raptor. "Yeah! They've gone a bit crazy. The poor tiger bit off more than he can chew. I feel a bit sorry for him."

Walt nodded. "Tell 'em to leave it! It's not important right now. I'll buy them a new one... a bigger one."

Yang laughed. "And if that doesn't work?"

Walt nodded. "If that doesn't work you have my permission to release Zwei to round them up!"

Yang laughed some more as she kicked another raptor. "Sic the hound on 'em? Got it!"

They watched Yang rush off to get Zwei fighting her way past the Gardners to the pet pavilion. Jamie 'captures' Astrid on his shield and Lydia shakes her head. "That's not typically how one 'shield maidens'..."

Walt chuckled. "Don't worry. I'm pretty sure that wasn't intentional..." he looks at Jamie, "... though it is Lil' Jay, so who knows? Uh oh. Lydia on me!" He digs his heels in and charges off towards a situation he just seen.

"By your command!" She says tearing after him giving a whistle. Aela and Serana both hear it and peel off from where they were to lend aid.

Walt grins and charges forward to the trouble drawing his pistol. "Time to save a princess!"

"Ooch! Away wit' ye, ye o'er grown scaled gits!" Merida says laying into raptors with a cast iron skillet she'd armed herself with adter running out if arrows. She was protecting a small group of people and held her own pretty well one on one and two on one... but the Raptors had called in a group of friends. "This dinnae look gud." She sighs. She readies to go down swinging... then shots rang out!

"Lass!" Walt shouts as he and the Skyrim ladies break straight through the group of raptors. "Jump on!"

Merida laughs. "Aye! Guid timing!" She leaps up onto the horseback. "Ah bolted oot o' arrows!"

Walt grins seeing the Lydia, Aela and Serana also take on passengers. "Serana," he called out squeezing off a shot. "Arrows?"

Serana smiled and accessed her inventory pulled out a fresh quiver and tossed them to Merida. "Catch!"

"Woo hoo!" Merida cheered grabbing the quiver just as Walt fired his last shot. He holstered the pistol and thought about drawing his knife but then he spotted something. He wheeled Teddy around towards one of the flag poles and snapped it off.

Merida laughed. "Yer a mad lad!"

"Aye!" Walt grinned couching the pole like a lance in the crook of his arm. "Disappointed?"

"Nae hardly!," Merida grinned as they formed up to charge back through. She grinned steadying herself to stand on the back of the massive horse nocking sn arrow to her bow. "Ah loue a guid rammy tae!" Merida laughed shooting her bow as they charged.

Walt joined in. Lydia, Aela and Serana laughed too. This was something they all loved too!
