Girlfriends

For both Barbara and Kitty, the next week was one of the best of their lives. They'd never had so much fun working as vigilantes as they did with each other; they spent their week chasing down criminals and patrolling the streets in costume, and when they were off the clock, Barbara showed the X-Woman around Gotham, particularly the GCU campus. Of course, during their free time, Kitty and Barbara couldn't keep their hands off each other, either, constantly having sex -- in bed, in the shower, on the couch, pretty much anywhere they could find a private moment to be intimate. By the end of the week, they'd become incredibly close, their respective crushes on one another developing into full blown romance.

"So... I told myself I wasn't going to mention this, but... what are we now, Kitty?" Barbara asked the morning before Logan was set to return to Gotham.

"What do you mean?" Kitty asked, though she knew exactly what Barbara was asking.

"I mean, I know you plan on coming back here and attending GCU. And I'm pretty sure I know where I stand with you and what you think of me. I guess... I just kinda want a confirmation."

"So this is basically the relationship talk, huh?" Kitty smiled, hugging Barbara. "I'll get right to the point then, Babs. Yes, I want to be your girlfriend. I'm fucking crazy about you. Even if I can't move here for whatever reason, I'm willing to try long distance. Seriously, that's how smitten I am with you."

Barbara's face lit up, her green eyes sparkling with delight. "That's pretty much exactly what I wanted to hear... um, girlfriend."

"Good," Kitty smiled. "Because I'll be needing a place to stay while I study at GCU. You'll let me stay here for free, right?" she joked.

Barbara playfully pushed Kitty onto her back on the couch. "I knew it! You're only using me for free room and board!"

"Not true!" Kitty teased back, pulling Barbara down on top of her. "I'm also using you for your body."

"Well, I already knew that," Barbara purred, kissing Kitty's neck. "Not that I mind..."

Kitty giggled as Barbara's kisses turned to nibbles. "So... what do you think Logan & Bruce are going to say when we tell them about us?"

Barbara pulled away, a look of mock horror on her face. "Oh god. That means they might have to hang out sometimes. What have we done, Kitty?!"

Kitty and Barbara burst out laughing, their heads pressed together. "I guess we both have an overprotective older brother to deal with now."

"True. Though I'm not worried about Logan trying to intimidate me," Barbara pointed out. "I'm worried about him and Bruce trying to kill each other."

"Eh, that's their problem," Kitty shrugged casually, gently stroking Barbara's cheek. "They wanna be grumpy old men, I say we let 'em be grumpy old men."

"Beauty and brains. Damn, did I ever luck out," Barbara smirked, leaning down to kiss Kitty. It wasn't long before the pair felt that unmistakable heat that had become so common over the last few days, and Kitty grabbed Barbara and phased them out of their clothes, leaving both women completely naked.

"That trick still blows my mind," Barbara said of Kitty's mutant ability.

"I'm only getting started," Kitty smirked, reaching between Barbara's legs and teasing her slit with her fingertips. Barbara returned the favor, gently caressing Kitty's wet folds as well. The couple eagerly kissed again, and let out soft moans of pleasure as their fingers began pumping inside each other.

Kitty and Barbara kept up a slow, gentle rhythm, fingering each other tenderly as they continued kissing passionately. Neither girl felt the need to rush things, enjoying the moment. "Completely shameless," Kitty agreed, moaning. "You can use me like that whenever you want, Babs."

"Same to you, Kitty," Barbara murmured happily. "So, we've got until tomorrow before meeting Logan & Bruce... any ideas on how to spend our time?"

Kitty grinned suggestively. "Oh, come on. you already know the answer to that..."
