Skyler the Sly felt very unlucky these days. It had been since she encountered that witch back a few villages ago. The party had gone in for a psychic reading for fun, but Skyler couldn't help but call the little old lady out on her very pedestrian tricks. Any rookie rogue could've pulled them off. They were thrown out, but not before the witch had muttered something in a language Skyler didn't understand.

Now it was quite like, not that she understood this metaphor or why it had popped into her head, but it was as if she were supposed to be rolling 20 sided dice and instead only rolled an 8 sided.
