A Way to your Parents

As the three of you enter the elevator, Dove presses a few buttons on the console, you don't know what the buttons she pressed do; you've never seen them before in a standard elevator. The doors close and you feel it start to rise. After a moment, the elevator opens into a small room with a door opposite you and a staircase heading upwards. You all step out and you follow as the other two start climbing the stairs. You can't help but wonder why you're going up, aren't you taking a car?

At the top of the stairs is a fire door, which Dove opens, revealing the roof with a helicopter sitting on a helipad in the centre of it. Of course, why wouldn't you have a helicopter? You're still not used to your new reality and keep forgetting that you're rich now. As the three of you board it, you notice the fire door open as a man starts running over to you. He closes the sliding door before opening the front door.

"Sorry I'm a little late, you didn't give me much warning this time." He says, sitting in the pilot seat and grabbing the helmet on the co-pilot seat.

"I know, and we apologise, but we only found out we had to leave just before you did." Dove explains, looking over at you as she puts on her headset. Ivy hands you one as she grabs another for herself.

"I'm sorry, I forgot." You reply, putting the headset on, before buckling yourself in. Ivy and Dove do the same.

"It's alright. So, where we headin'?" The pilot asks, as he flicks switches on the dashboard. After a moment, you can hear the roar of the propellers, even with the headset on. This is so exciting; you've never been on a helicopter b-

"To her parent's place." Dove replies, gesturing to you. She smiles at you and shakes her head slightly. They probably expected you to say it, oh well. Suddenly, the helicopter rocks as it starts to rise into the air.

"Alright then, sit back and enjoy the ride." He states as you feel the helicopter turn, before flying off. You look out the window, at the town beneath you. It's so cool to see this once fictional place with your own eyes, it's fascinating.

After a few hours, you see a large mansion cresting a hill.

"There it is." The pilot states, quickly approaching the building. You feel the helicopter slow down as you start to pass over it, then suddenly you pass it. Why weren't you landing on it? You look at the two women and notice that they don't seem worried. What was going-

Suddenly, the helicopter rocks as it starts to descend. Everything was okay. Clearly, their helipad was just behind the building. Why were you worried so much? Was it because you were finally about to see your dad? The helicopter landed and you feel yourself press into your seat slightly as it settles.

"Here we are." The pilot states, flicking some more switches. You hear the sounds of the rotors fading. Ivy and Dove start unbuckling and taking off their headsets, so you do the same. The pilot gets out and opens the sliding door for you. Instantly, you feel a rush of wind against your face; even when they were slowing the propellers still pushed a lot of wind around. You climb out and look up at the large mansion, followed shortly by the other two women. It looks so much bigger on the ground. You notice two figures standing on the back stairs to it. Is that your parents? The three of you walk towards them.
