Chapter 256 by Fantasy Fantasy

Intermission - Sarah has an idea.

It was purely on a whim that Sarah decided to use the hot tub in one of the bathrooms that night. Her friends all thought that, since her house had hot tubs, a sauna, a pool and all that stuff, she used them every day. The thing is, when you have them available at any point, you stop seeing them as anything special. The gym in the basement was the only thing she used consistently. Still, that night Sarah tied up her hair and took a nice, relaxing dip in the hot tub before going to bed.

She sank in the warm water all the way to her chin and closed her eyes. It all felt so nice she almost could’ve dozed off there and then… if not for her siblings yelling as they ran past the bathroom door.

“Go to bed, you brats!” she yelled at them.

“But you’re still awake!” one of them yelled back.

Ugh. Sarah didn’t have the will to fight at the moment. Instead, she dried her hands with a towel, grabbed her phone from the small folding table nearby and was about to text her mom. She stopped when she saw something that made her forget the trivial annoyance.

-Alice: Hey… Do you have time to talk?

A text from Alice. Sarah pursed her lips. She had to wonder what this was about. Alice and Sarah were close, extremely close, but when it came to asking for advice on things, she always went to Grace first. Well, most people went to Grace first, even Sarah herself.

Sarah immediately started a voice call and set the phone back on the table. Alice picked up not three beeps into it.

“H-Hey…” Alice greeted.

“Hey. Why did you want to talk to me? It got me curious AND worried,” Sarah said.

“What? I can’t call you when I’m in need of some advice?” Alice asked, giggling.

“So you do need advice. Don’t get me wrong, I’m flattered, but why not call Grace first?”

“Because it’s you I want to talk to, why else?”

Sarah smiled. It warmed her heart. Knowing her friend could rely on her every once in a while… It felt nicer than the hot tub.

“Hey, I’m always here. Sorry if there’s a weird echo. I’m in the hot tub now, which also means no one in my house will hear us talk unless I start shouting.”

“Good, because… I wanted to ask some delicate things.”

“Shoot.”

“...”

For a moment there, Sarah believed her phone battery had died or something.

“Alice?”

“Sorry. This is really embarrassing…”

“Alright. What did Oliver do?”

“W-What?”

Sarah smirked. “I nailed it, didn’t I?”

“N-No! And… And yes,” Alice admitted with a defeated sigh.

Sarah held back her laughter, but not her grin. Alice couldn’t see her, after all. “So? How’s it going? If he’s not treating you well I’ll give him a good scolding tomorrow.”

The long, heavy sigh contradicted her following words. “He’s been great, Sarah. He’s attentive, kind, even funny. I never expected he’d be the type to crack jokes or tease people. I like it.”

“He has his moment, yeah.” Sarah chuckled. “So what’s the problem?”

“...” Alice sighed again. “How… How do I tell him I want to have more sex?”

Oh. THAT was unexpected. “What do you mean? You just tell him, right? Or does he not want to do it with you?”

“Noelle and I were at his place yesterday. We were alone for a while with him. We… We made out, Noelle kissed him too, but… that was it. Isabelle and his mom came back and we couldn’t do more.”

“And you want it.”

Alice groaned loudly in frustration. “So damn much I think I’m gonna go insane, Sarah!”

“Then tell him!”

“It’s just… We still had a good time there. I told Noelle and Isabelle that I race, Noelle told us… something, too, and we all hung out. I like spending time like that with him.”

“So the issue is…?”

“...That I don’t want him to think I’m just with him for the sex.”

Honestly, Sarah couldn’t even laugh. She got it. She understood it perfectly.

Oliver was a great guy, and not in the sense of those ‘great guys’ that you won’t date but hope they’re happy. No, Oliver was a great guy that you want to keep because being with him feels RIGHT. But then you have sex with him, your brain just melts and you want it again and again and again. Fuck, Sarah had to press her tighs together at the faint tingling sensation that remembering brought. It was hard to not look like it was all they cared about.

“For us, it started the complete opposite way from you and Noelle,” Sarah began. “It started with sex. We MADE IT about sex. We told him he was so good in bed that we didn’t mind if he kept us three as sex friends. What was difficult was convincing him that we had actually fallen in love with him. But here’s the thing, Alice. Oliver, that cute, soft spoken, timid, harmless boy, is actually a horny monkey in disguise.”

That made Alice crack up. She burst out laughing so hard that there was a soft thud along with it as Alice seemingly dropped her phone.

“R-Right,” Alice said, giggling. “You’ve said that before. With other words, but…”

“Well, he is! Listen, when we had that old music room, we’d sneak in a quickie almost every morning, every recess, every lunch break. Fuck, I miss that room. We could do anything in there.” Sarah groaned. “And that’s the real issue, I think. We don’t have a place to sneak off to do it. We have other people in all our houses. If we had a place, I promise you he’d be all over you already. I’ve seen him staring at your tits. She wants you as much as you want him.”

“...I think so too. I sometimes get this strange feeling that you’ve mentioned, but… Are you sure it’s not just my imagination?”

“It’s not. Trust it.”

“So I can really tell him I want to do it more?”

“If you don’t, I’ll tell him myself.”

Alice chuckled. “Please don’t. I have to learn how to talk about these things with my boyfriend.”

“Yeah you do. Stop holding back, Alice. I stopped, and it feels amazing.”

“I almost wish I had done something to stop the construction of the new labs,” Alice said. “We have the student council room, but there’s always the possibility that another member or even a teacher will show up.”

A space of their own in school. If only they could find one again.

Wait a minute.

“Hey, Alice?”

“Hm?”

“What do you need to start a new club at our school?”
