These words snapped you out of your contemplative state. You knew what happened to you, and you knew why being so physical with a man like this was one of the worst possible things you could be doing. You quickly tore yourself off his chest and looked away from him. It was clear that along with a female body you were also given a woman’s taste in partner. You could feel your cheeks burn with embarrassment as you struggled with these new emotions.

The touch of a hand on your shoulder caused you to look back. You are surprised to find the man in a similar situation to yourself. Looking away, his face red with embarrassment. He was acting nothing like you’d expect a jock to be.

“I-I’m-“ he stammered timidly, his eyes still not meeting yours, “sorry for being so forward. It’s just that…” he trailed off and you cocked your head in confusion. What is it he’s so afraid to say? And to a complete stranger no-less?

You watched as the man took a deep breath and composed himself. His eyes met yours once again, and you immediately wanted to dive right into them. But the serious expression on his face brought you back to the present.

“Listen,” he said, “I need to know, are you safe?”

You stared at him, utterly confounded. Safe? What did he mean by that? You didn’t think you were in any physical danger.

“Is,” he continued, “someone hurting you? A father? A boyfriend? Do you need somewhere to stay until things cool down at home?”

A father? Boyfriend? What the hell did he think was happening-

And that’s when it dawned on you. You lifted your hand and gently touched your cheek.
