Valkyrae, or Rachel Hoffstetter, is an american streamer, (of german and philipino decent) that started on Twitch in 2012, move to Youtube in 2020. She is known for her rise in popularity, initially from traction she was gaining on her instagram account where she would post pictures of games and reviewed them while she worked for Gamestop, a gaming rental company. She would then start streaming variety games and her energetic and chaotic energy was so infectious that her streams started to gain popularity. Fortnite would be her next moment when her viewership would increases dramatically and she would consistantly play from () to () gaining a following of (). Also collaborations with other streamers, including members of Offline Tv and friends would join her to the network of streamers making on stream and off stream content. The OTV Minecraft server was also a moment of popularity for her where she met many friends of OTV. Among us in 2020 was another moment where new streamers would join and get known as well as established streamers reach a new audience. Disguised Toast, a popular strategy streamer, would hold lobbies for among us and the infamous Amigops crew was born: Rae, Sykkuno, Toast and Corpse. This group had great chemistry and Toast would always reserve a spot for them when making his lobbies. Otherwise, Rae is also esports 100 Thieves owner, has 3 Youtube channels and her instagram following has never stopped growing.
