A Stranger

Eliza had no idea who the man standing in the doorway, smiling down at her was. He was handsome, she was grateful for that, but his features were totally unfamiliar to her. She shivered a little, knowing in her heart that this man would take her virginity. She wondered how long it would take and what it would be like. Would he save it for later in their mentorship? Or take her tonight?

“Eliza, welcome!” He stood aside and ushered her in.

She took her tentative first steps into his house and looked behind her to see he was shutting the door on her parents. She thought about saying something, she even opened her mouth to do so, but the words escaped her as the door shut on her old life. She surveyed the man who she’d be living with for the next year. He was a tall man with dark hair, a well trimmed beard, and dark eyes. He looked like he kept his tall frame in shape and she wondered if he’d be able to pick her up. She wasn’t tall but she had a softer, curvier frame than a lot of her peers. His smile was soft but there was something she couldn’t quite identify behind his eyes.

He gestured around, “my home is your home. Do you have any questions for me?”

Eliza shook her head, “not really. I guess I don’t even know what to ask.”

“Understandable, this is all very new to you.”

“I guess, umm, what should I do now?”
