What next?
One of the Watermelons is ready for harvesting.
Jason checked each of the sleeping watermelons on the ground, doing health checks to see how they were doing. A few yards away, he saw one of the melons had woken up and was rubbing its eyes awake.
When a watermelon person woke up for the first time, it was a sign that they were ready to be harvested. The condition of the soil, how much water they had, quality of sunlight or the quality of seeds they had been grown from all had an effect on how they turned out. It hadn't rained as much as they would have liked this year, but they had managed to keep up them watered, making their proportioned fairly average this time of year, though some of the still-sleeping melons were bigger than the others.
