Second Rehearsal

A week later you return to Liz’s apartment. You two had been texting back and forth since last time, mostly you sending encouraging messages to her. Things look much the same as last time, with the furniture pushed off to the sides of the room. You don’t know if she’s kept it this way or if she rearranges it every time she practices. You’ve also done a little bit of reading in your spare time to get a better understanding of what the burlesque community is all about.

You definitely enjoyed watching the recorded acts you found online. But now it’s time for your own private viewing.

“Get comfy, Connor, I think you’ll like the progress I’ve made.” Then she takes centre stage and the music starts.
