Sikes, Daniel challenges you to a poker round

Just before Daniel is about to release the chips into your hand, he pauses before snapping them back into his hand. "You fucker!" he said with a smirk as he sees the higher value on the chips beneath the first. "You're a sneaky bitch, John!"

"Can't blame a guy for trying," you say with a chuckle. "but I'd still like to test these chips."

"For sure," Daniel said as he sits down on the other side of the felt table. "But I suspect we have to do it properly for it to count as a 'game.' Shuffle that deck and deal two hands," he said as he counted the amount of chips, before pulling a few more out of the case. "A thousand dollars should be fair, 250 dollar for the big blind?"

"It's just a quick game, so fine," you said as you begin shuffling the deck, agreeing to the premise. "but you start with the big blind."

"Fine by me," Daniel said as you passed over two cards to him.
