Superhero Stakeout

While it was nice to clear the air so to speak, it still left the both of them a lot to think about. Well, Golden Girl/Jessica had a lot to think about.

Mercury seemed more interested in acting out a few fantasies of his, "Come on, I told you mine. You've gotta have a few..." Or in trying to figure out who hers were.

"Not now," It wasn't like GG wasn't interested and didn't have fantasies, "Later though." But the whole conversation had unsettled her. The whole superhero identity thing was supposed to be a way to get away from her problems, to not have to worry about the things in her mundane boring life. But now it was all too real. "Besides, weren't you in the middle of a stake out?"

"Oh, shit! The camera!" Reminded of what had prompted the conversation in the first place, Mercury's attention goes from GG to his amateur observation station. It doesn't take him long to do, whatever it is he is trying to do. GG has a hard time following what the speedster is doing. "Ok, video file saved, Camera set up, and... DONE!" Mercury looks at GG, a smirk on his face, "and now we wait."

As he said that Mercury grabs a backpack from which he pulls out a candy bar and then passes off the bag to GG. Quickly searching through the bag herself, GG pulls out a bag of chips and starts eating.

There wasn't much else they needed to do except watch the video feed and hope they catch something.

How I am interpreting these results is that they managed to find 1 piece of "evidence", but both of them were able to get something different out of it when they analyzed it. Now I need to figure out what the info is. After thinking about it, I'm going to use One-Page-Solo-Engine and roll once for "Topic", and a 2nd Time for "Detail"

As the two amatuer superheroes sit next to each other, watching the video feed and munching on snacks, "So, what do we know about this place?" Mercury looks at GG, as if he didn't understand the question. "You know, who owns it, how long it's been in business, things like that?"

GG sees a look of embarrassment on his face as he replies, "I, actually don't know..."

Sighing, GG pulls out and checks her cellphone, "Good thing I have signal." She also checks to make sure she doesn't have any missed calls or messages. She feels relief when she doesn't see any missed calls from her kids. But disappointment when she realizes that Henry hasn't either. Putting her mundane life in the back of her mind, GG grabs one of Mercury's arms and wraps it around herself. Taking the hint he moves behind her, pressing his chest against her back while wrapping both arms around her torso. Now much more comfortable, she pulls up a search engine and sees what she can find.

Immediately she finds plenty of crime reports and claims linking the buisness with local crime. Which she had already suspected, but it was good to have her suspicions confirmed. What surprised her was how old some of the stories were. As GG continued looking through old news articles a name kept popping up, the same name.
