What's next?
Check out the ravine cave
“Aye. Could be a way forward and if it’s not, could be good shelter.”
“Alright you lead the way.” Petra steps aside. Leading the way through the cave your having a hard time seeing through the pitch black void. Your eyes begin to adjust slightly but you still find yourself stumbling into walls. Petra tightly clutches your arm as it’s apparent she cannot see at all.
Feeling around the darkness you touch something akin to a soft fabric.
Woah a blanket maybe? I wonder if other adventurers were here?
Your are able to pull free the large piece of fabric as it seems to be a poorly cut blanket. The material it’s made of is low quality but it would certainly keep you atleast semi warm.
“So a blanket and shelter. Guess we can rest here.” You say to Petra.
“I’d feel more comfortable if I could see. Are we sure there isn’t anything in here with us?”
“Aye well if there was they woulda heard us by now.”
“Not the answer I was hoping for but any port in a storm I guess.”
“Good cmere and get under the blanket.”
“What about your wound?”
“Ah as if I could forget. Sorry blanket.” You tear off a small piece of the blanket to use as a bandage. You go through the painstaking process of pulling the wood fragment out of you. It drops to the ground with a clatter as you are quick to bind your wound.
“There that should hold. I hope. Now we rest.” The two of you find a spot on the rocky floor and share the blanket’s comfort.
