Donna and her bookclub

Alexis froze as Donna entered through the door, followed by five other women. They all looked at Alexis, who stood staring at them with a rather stupefied expression.

"Ah, Alex!" Donna said. "This is my book club. Book club, this is Jasmine's little brother Alex."

"Little... what?" Alexis asked, baffled.

What Alexis didn't know was Jasmine and Donna had worked this all out together. Jasmine had swapped Alexis's outfit, Donna planned it out to arrive with her friends right after, catching Alexis wearing dorky, boyish clothes.

"Aw, he's just the cutest little thing!" One of Donna's friend's came up, pinching Alexis's cheek. Alexis flinched back.

"I... I'm not a boy!" Alexis growled, slapping the woman's hand away.

What the hell was going on, she wondered? It was like the universe was conspiring to make her worse fears come true! She'd been embarrassed enough of having ultra short hair, but now she was wearing dorky boy clothes, no padded bra, and everyone was calling her a boy!

"Oh, you're not a boy?" Jasmine said, walking down the stairs. "Let me guess, you're a tiger today? Or a dolphin?"

She then spoke to the bookclub friends.

"Sorry, he's got such an active imagination, and is always telling tall tales." Jasmine said, trying to make any claim Alexis made unbelievable.
