Which Path does Thorjen take to get the 15 pieces of Gold
Main Quest- Verse .2 - The Benefactor
Thorjen
He couldn't peel his eyes away from the ring wrapped around his finger. He carried this feeling of doubt nestled deep within his heart, which in truth, was also one of fear.
The things which had transpired within his life so far were far from normal. From the guardian of Chaos, to the meeting of Geary and the Moon jin inn teahouse, and not to mention the fact his acupoints were blocked from an earlier age. He was resigned to the idea that somehow the world wanted him to go through a hard life. And despite being born with the unique body constitution, a child able to see the fates, he felt such things were more so a burden to him rather than a gift.
His directed steps continued to take him away from the crowded central plaza of the city.
Whilst he followed this peculiar hazy arrow which conjured itself into existence every time he gently rubbed the side of the ring against his finger, he was constantly filled with marvel by the sheer workings of it. 'Geary's magic is incredible.' Thorjen found there was this constant good feeling within his heart each time he experienced Geary's Magic. An eagerness to understand it even more.
He followed the ghost like arrow wherever it told him to go, and ended up walking through narrow alleyways, over small connected bridges arched over running streams through the city, through the outskirts of the tall towering buildings, until soon enough he stumbled upon a bustling area, where the streets were covered in neon lights and where he noticed women dressed in very skimpy clothing.
Swooning at him or asking if he'd like to spend the night with them...somehow he understood exactly what they were implying. He often found himself shyly declining whilst using the little foot work he knew to expertly zig-zag around the brazen ones who tried to stop him.
'Sheesh-This place is different from the blue mountain. The Azure feather sect wasn't so...brazen.' He wasn't sure what to expect once he arrived at the citadel, but it certainly wasn't all of what he had seen so far. Eager to get away from this particular part of the city, he increased his steps and followed the arrow which continued to take him further north.
The further away from the central part of the city the less merchants and vibrant colors he encountered. The people on this side of the citadel were also somewhat different. He could sense it within the air here. There was gloom and a certain level of caution floating around. Countless shabby looking fellows were seated along the cobbled ground, some in the corners of the alleys some shirtless, with their backs against the stony ground. Others merely sat wherever they chose beneath the creaking oiled lamps to stay warm.
A careful look at their appearance along with a single whiff of their scent, and Thorjen understood they must have been living outside for quite some time. This was startling for him to see. Wasn't there many finely dressed folk just a few streets away from this place? And he was sure his eyes captured more than enough tall buildings for people to live in in the central plaza alone not to mention the entire four corners of the citadel. Was living on the streets truly an option?
'There's so many of them...wh-what is this place.' He asked himself thoughtfully
****He carefully walked passed them all, noticing a small glint of happiness appearing momentarily once they made eye contact with him. Most of them stammered inaudible words, stretching out their hands and begging. Others moved away the moment he got close to them.
Thorjen frowned half way along his walk through this particular street, it suddenly dawned upon him that most of these people were beast kin and a few Half ling folk. Something about this place didn't sit right with him.
"Auh?" His footsteps were suddenly halted by a tiny figure suddenly appearing in the middle of the road. Thorjen felt his heart beat a little quicker as he was assured the last time he looked up no one was there. But here someone was. A tiny slender girl with furry ears covered in tattered clothes, her ankles were covered in wrappings, her hair was unkempt and messy. But behind her her doe eyes revealed a look of innocence. For a few moments she merely just stood there. Staring directly into his eyes with a curious glint within them.
Thorjen was poised to open his mouth when suddenly he felt an imminent sense of danger crawling down his neck. He jumped back and narrowly avoided the lunging knife attack swiping towards his throat. He could feel an unknown power behind that attack, one which left beads of sweat dotted against his face.
'Battle aura...'
Thorjen couldn't cultivate but he had trained arduously to improve his physical capabilities and his movement. So he side stepped and used an awkward style of foot movements to create space between himself and the tiny figure. A second and third attack arrived dutifully before he could catch a second breath, Thorjen barely avoided the second and needed to short parry the third strike, by using his palms to strike a particular place in the short arm which bent her joint. But because battle aura was being applied, he still felt the biting steel draw blood against his forearm.
'Tsk!" He saw his blood spraying out like a fountain into the air. The little figure was skilled, too nimble and downright ruthless with her attacks. Thorjen understood there was no way he could escape this unless he fought back. But he didn't have a weapon. 'Fuck!' Was he doomed to be cut down here? He gathered his mind, and slowly took a few deep breaths.
'Focus...Focus...I need too...huh...'
His eyes trailed to the heavens where he suddenly heard the throat curdling squall of a bird within the skies. A single squall was followed by a few more, and very quickly a dozen more sounded and more. Until the air was filled with an entire song of squawking birds.
'What the hell is going on now'
****Although he was briefly distracted he refused to remove his entire focus off the short figure with furry ears. But just when his eyes trailed back to the figure, only leaving her for a second...
'Huh...'
Observing her again, he was shocked to see a complete change in her demeanor. Her eyes were rattling uncontrollably with a stale look of sheer fright glazed over them.
"Argh-arghhhh!"
"no-no-no- pl-please spare me...."
"HELPPPPP-ahgrrrr--help meeeee"
The surrounding people were suddenly screaming in hysterics. Thorjen was taken aback and couldn't help retracing his steps backwards, his eyes filled with panic, shifted all around the area wondering what the hell was going on right now. The erratic cries of what sounded like hundreds of birds within the heavens slowly fell into a quiet whisper.
Once the last squall had faded, the surrounding area fell back into its eerie quietness.
Thorjen felt the sweat rolling down his cheek at this point, he hastily moved his gaze forwards but the little figure was gone.
'Th-this is...madness' He instantly thought. Every fiber within his gut was screaming at him to flee. He saw a smoky arrow appear again, telling him to keep moving ahead. Thorjen took a few moments before he decided to act. He glanced at the opposing sides of the streets. The malnourished bodies were curled within themselves, whimpering with clear signs of fright within their dreary gazes.
'Sigh...damn it! lets...lets get this over with.' He thought inwardly before continuing on with gritted teeth.
***********
Thorjen reached the end of the cobbled street where he noticed the air had changed again. Less heavier and more sweetly scented like the other parts of the city he had seen so far. He nervily scanned his surroundings, there wasn't signs of any shabby dressed fellows or anything remotely likened to the scene he had witnessed only moments ago. From a simple face value, things looked as normal as they could be here.
He observed the merchant stalls nearby, most of which were boarded up or closed. They looked as though they had been closed for some time judging by the lack of people along this street. By chance his gaze moved towards the heavens, where he noticed a large scorching sun tucked beneath floating clouds. Reminding him the day was still rather young.
He felt that familiar sensation where he was **** to check the ring against his finger. This time four arrows appeared before spiraling into a small ball which vanished into the air. 'I guess I'm here...but where exactly is here?' He asked himself
Thorjen Scanned the rows of boarded merchant stalls for a second time. He was just about to remove his gaze away when he suddenly saw something oddly familiar standing on the end. Without further hesitation, his feet hastened towards it. 'N-no way...wh-what is this place doing...all the way out here!'
If he spoke he knew his voice would be trembling at this moment. He rubbed his eyes multiple times but the scene before him never changed.
This place shouldn't be here right now, he made sure he was staring at the right place and not some sort of replica but indeed this was that place.
The small homely inn he had first discovered upon leaving the prison where he discovered the guardian of chaos.
The place where he had befriended those odd band of misfits.
The place where he had met her...
With uncertain eyes Thorjen re-read those same words plastered against the uneven sign board.
"Th...The Moon-Jin Tea house."
Thorjen cautiously walked into the teahouse. The interior was just how he remembered it. 'Th-this is the same place?' he still couldn't believe what he was seeing. And if it hadn't been for all of the things he had seen thus far, might've pinched himself already.
He couldn't make sense of how the teahouse appeared here, the only sense he could make from it was perhaps this was magic again.
'Was Geary here?'
He felt a slight fluster in his heart when he pictured that buxom witch in his mind. But he ended up shaking his head to clear away the haze of distraction away from his thoughts.
"Good morning young master." Thorjen's heart almost jumped out of his mouth when he was surprised by that sudden voices arrival
'W-wh-where did she come out from.' He could barely stand straight, whilst his hand already reached his chest to make sure his heart was still beating
Slowly he felt his nerves calming down once he got a better look at the soothing voice. A tall and very curvaceous brown skinned lady appeared, she had wavy short reddish hair, with a pair of furry ears which caught his attention. But other than her noticeable slight animalistic appearance. Her style of clothing was also eye catching. After all, she was clothed in a skin tight maid outfit which didn't do well to hide her huge breasts and incredible large ass poking out from the skirt. Thorjen found himself admiring her assets in silence, until soon enough he realized he was gawking like some kind of pervert, and **** himself to swiftly turn his head away. He cleared his throat harshly, admonishing himself internally for when he had actually become so lewd minded.
'W-wait young master?' His eyes flashed wide as he recalled those words
Thorjen returned a firmer gaze towards her, he took another quick look around and gathered no one else was probably here.
"Where is everyone?" he asked her slowly
"Everyone?" repeated the woman airily in deep thought. Her prettily dull eyes snapped open suddenly. "The benefactor is not here right now young master nor are the...others! Here, I was told to hand this over to you..."
Thorjen stared at the folded letter in her hands for a few moments in silence, before he cautiously stretched out his hand to receive it. He unfolded the paper and scanned across the contents within.
'Dear Number 6...Congratulations on making it this far. Welcome to Lucien Kingdom! where all your dreams might come true...or...your very worst nightmares...hahaha I only jest.

OMG-How is that possible right? Well there's still a lot you need to learn about magic my friend. But you'll discover these things in due course. For now I would like to tell you a few important things.

As always, this place is top secret and whilst I like you a lot Thorjen, I must inform you...disobeying the benefactor's orders will cost you...your life...hahaha now then. Onto my second proposition...
Thorjen's eyes were glued to the letter within his hand, carefully taking in all the contents written inside. He noticed a lovely smell soon filtered into his nostrils. He raised his eyes upwards, finding the beautiful large chested woman standing right in front of him.
"Auh?" he mumbled taking a step back in the process.
The lady didn't say anything and simply stretched out her hand. Thorjen again could only stare at it wordlessly for a short while before he suddenly remembered what was written within the letter.
He carefully slipped the ring off his finger and gently placed it on her soft brown hand. The maid nodded before turning her back towards him and walking away.
Thorjen gulped once he saw her very large ass jiggling from side to side whilst she went away, he could basically see her entire round backside, and the small piece of black lace which acted as her panty, being swallowed between those two great mounds of flesh. A great sight to behold indeed whilst he was assured he had never seen such a large ass before in his entire life.
A few minutes later and she resurfaced again, this time she was carrying a scroll in one hand and something else closed within her fist. Once she arrived she handed the scroll over to Thorjen and opened her fist, revealing a silver ring laying on her palm.
"Young master here are your spoils." She said with a courteous bow. Despite her being obviously a lot older than he was, there was an unmissable childish innocence to her. One that slightly made Thorjen look at her fondly.
"Thank you." he simply replied with a warm smile. He didn't want to make trouble for her so he tried his best to be polite. 'Now then, what's this scroll about.'
After he unfolded the scroll he found a set of blueprints inside, observing closely he soon gathered this was a sketch of the moon jin tea house. Speaking of sketches he was dutifully reminded about his favorite hobby when he was living on the blue mountain. 'So much has changed.' He thought to himself. Thorjen scanned the scroll a little more and something suddenly jumped out to him.
