You have to admit, you haven’t been this combination of nervous and excited for a Pokémon Challenge in years. Not only did Amber win her challenge (the entire battle was a nail biter), but so did Blue (you supposed you should be happy for him). If you were to lose, you think you might just die of embarrassment.

The rest of the Novice fights had been rather disappointing honestly. To be fair, that wasn’t unusual or unexpected. But with them out of the way it was time for the Apprentice level fights.

The Apprentice level fights had been more interesting. With the First being a Purple Haired girl, Rachel of Vermillion City, who had managed to beat Brock, earning her 2nd Badge. You remember talking to her a few weeks ago and giving her some pointers. Pointers which she seems to have taken to heart.

You hadn’t met the other trainer yet. But the Announcer introduced her as Rhapsody of Lavender town. She was a Dark-Haired girl who seemed a little shy. But that shyness hadn’t stopped her from earning her 3rd Badge.

It always made you happy to see your fellow girls succeed. Now you just had to not fuck this up.

However, this was your third attempt at beating Brock to get your 7th Badge. You really should have started heading home months ago. A fact you were reminded of as you felt another (hopefully) false contraction. But you are already IN Pewter City and you have been here for MONTHS! It would have been a waste to leave just to come back.

Besides, your Ex-Boyfriend and Rival was also here to earn his 7th Badge. If he succeeded where you failed…

Well that wasn’t going to happen was it! Speaking of the Devil, or in this case thinking it…

“What’s wrong Melody? You look nervous.” You look to the man sitting next to you, a man you had been doing your best to ignore.

“Nothing is wrong Richard.”

Richard, was the same age as you. In fact, you had grown up together in Fuchsia City and even dated when you were both younger. But the bastard had dumped you right before heading out on his Pokémon Journey because he thought you would be ‘dead weight.’

You will never admit this out loud, but a huge reason you became a Pokémon Trainer yourself was to show Richard that he had been wrong about you. At first you had hoped to impress him enough that he would take you back. But considering his current company, you were glad he dumped you.

To his right was his Gardevoir, who was held by a leash, had her nipples pierced, and was heavily pregnant. Knowing Richard there was a 50% chance the father was human, maybe a 1 in 4 that it was his.

To his left was his newest Sex ****, a young pregnant girl with blue hair who was currently sucking his cock.

Yeah, you had defiantly dodged a bullet with Richard.

But that didn’t mean that you were going to let Richard get ahead of you, you were Rivals after all. While you hated to admit it, you had little doubt that Richard would earn his 7th Badge today. Thus, today was your last opportunity to get your 7th Badge and keep up with him.

A reality that you were reminded of as you felt your baby kick you in the kidney. You rested your hand on your swollen stomach to try and sooth them. The kid was ready to get out and they weren’t happy that mommy was running around instead of resting.

Your attention is partially diverted when you hear the loud speakers shout the Announcer’s voice throughout the stadium. “Well I hope you are enjoying today’s battles folks, because we not only have saved the best for last, but we have a special treat. Today we have not one, but two Expert Level Trainers who are going to give it all to earn their 7th Badge!” You hear a cheer going throughout the stadium at this. Everyone loved the higher level matches because the Gym Leaders barely held back, which usually meant the battle was going to be a good one, and today they got to see two.

“Our first Expert challenger should be familiar to our regular viewers. Melody Saffron of Fuchsia City will be making her third attempt at defeating Brock today. Lets hope the third time is the charm. Or not.”

At the sound of your name you stand up, wincing as you do. Your back is killing you right now. Maybe last night had been a bad idea…

“Hay Melody.” You turn around to look at Richard, “Good luck. I would hate to see you lose, again. Who knows what might happen if Brock were to fuck you for a third time. Your water might just break in front of everyone.” Richard’s shit eating grin tells you that is exactly what he hopes will happen.

You ignore your ex and make your way to your position, trying your best not to waddle. As you get into position you take one last look at Brock who has a confident smirk on his face. Bastard thinks that he has already won.

Time to wipe that smirk off his face.

Author’s Notes: Currently, Melody’s REVEALED Team is a Nidoqueen (Victoria, aka Vicky), a Shiny Gardevoir (Rose), and a Starmie (alien abominations don’t get cute nicknames). Now it is time to reveal more of her team!

In preparation for this I re-read a bunch of my stuff to remind myself what I had already written. One thing that I had forgotten was that I had already given Melody’s Husband a name (Alex)! Still deciding if I want Alex to be a HIMBO that Melody fell in love with, or a SIMP who fell in love with her. Might not be a large difference, but the little things can matter.
