Broken Silence

Shibu scrunched her face up and suddenly let out a loud wail in her mothers arms.

"She was fine a few moments ago...."

Himae murmured softly, fixing her top since the baby wasn't nursing anymore.

"Don't move a muscle ladies."

The deep voice had penetrated their peace and quiet, most likely the presence had caused the baby to start crying. She had seemingly sensed his approach.
