Weathering To Stay Put

AJ wanted what was best for her child. And if that meant staying put for the winter, than so be it.

"I want to stay... momma can protect me when you three hibernate again.."

AJ decided, cradling her infant close and staring down at the tiny beauty.

"I'll go get a tent fashioned for us then. No doubt we can dig under the ground where the tent is pitched and hibernate in earshot."

Silas said solemnly. They could even be woken from their hibernation periods at times, but it made them very disoriented and usually weaker than normal.
