Speeding Things Along

Several more days passed at sea, but when they reached the horse colonies, AJ was more than happy to get on dry land. The nausea she was having from morning sickness did not pair well with the constant rocking of a boat.

All around were people like her mother varying from goat sized to giant stallion sizes, all with the upper bodies of a human and lower of a horse of sorts.

AJ didn't have time to look around as she was immediately taken to a healer's tent and told to lay down. She was fed potions and herbs that made her feel slightly unwell before the pregnancy mark on her belly glowed brightly in reaction to the potions.

"Whats happening?"

She asked the healer softly, feeling heavy discomfort blooming in her womb. Under her blouse, her belly began to swell rapidly from the potions she'd been told to ingest.

"We're speeding up your pregnancy to get the baby out safely while you're in the presence of a skilled healer."

Uma reassured her daughter, patting her shoulder lightly. Though all AJ felt was instant fear and trepidation.
