Wake Up

Mark awoke with a start, and looked around desperately. Standing in front of him was Katie, who had an annoyed look on her face. Looking down he see’s he is sitting on a bed made of Andrea, Jackie, and Gloria.

“You’re finally awake”, Katie said.

“How long was I out for?”

“About 3 hours relative.”

Mark was shocked. “Really?”

“Yes Really. I’ve been waiting for most of that.”

“Sorry”, Mark said sheepishly. “Do you want to….”

“I’ve had time to think about what has been going on. I want to be happy for my parents, and what makes them happy makes me happy.”

“Wow that’s very mature of you.”

“Are you saying I wasn’t mature before”, Katie asked quizzically.

“What, uh no, I mean yes…I..uhhh”

Katie punched Mark in the arm playfully. “I’m just kidding.” Mark breathed a sigh of relief.

“Help me get everyone back in place, and I’ll restart Time.” Katie helped carry and place everyone where they needed to be. They then took a deep breath, and restarted Time.
