Yulia casts identify on the Praetorian Guards as the Mermaids and Sirens engage, splitting off parts of the Praetorian forces, leaving the group to deal with 10 of them on their own.

The physical fighting is grueling to say the least. The Guards are well trained and stay in a formation during the fighting forcing Boarchiel, Lri and Lemiel to smash against their shields and tridents, even attacks that get through are met with the armor and it's quite common for a successful attack to leave both the attacker and defender injured. Boarchiel's shield and strength do mitigate this slightly though. Her blows are difficult to turn aside and the reach of her spear makes the sharp bits on the armor less effective.

Yulia casts Blizzard which makes it more difficult for the Guards to move their weapons and shields as efficiently as the cold saps their strength. **** lances and icicles fired into their ranks makes their ability to fight back even more delayed as they have to struggle against Yulia's **** while also dealing with the three attackers.

the fight is long, arduous and leaves Boarchiel, Lri and even Lemiel badly wounded and bleeding from multiple injuries, but eventually the last Praetorian falls, at least... The last of the ten Yulia and the others were fighting. The Sirens and Mermaids are still engaged with the other twenty. Yulia and the others could help and turn the tide in their allies favour or they could head in and face the King, saving Isalia and ensuring no chance of the Mermaids or Sirens double crossing them.
