Smith was looking at Suu, Miia's internal panic rising. "We don't know where she came from but she's not a threat can she stay please?" The words tumbled out of the lamia's mouth in a rush. Cerea and Papi waited for Smith's response with apprehension.

Smith looked between them and sighed. "This is not worth the effort of reporting..." Miia tilted her head at her, Suu imitating the motion. As Suu looked at them, she decided to clarify. "Follow me to the living room, I'll explain there."

After a brief relocation and Smith sitting down on the couch, she began explaining. "I have a lot of different jobs. Looking for homestays, working as the Extraspecies Exchange Ministry's gun- er, as security and surveillance, putting new experiments into practice... and I haven't gotten a raise till 'Darling' set something up. and I still need to wait till next month to see it..." She mutters out the last part. "So as a favor to him, I'm not going to deal with this! Illegal entry? New Species? Not my job!" She said, crossing her arms proudly with her utter dereliction of duty.

After almost a minute of silence, Suu was having fun with Suu while Miia and Centorea were still a bit dumbstruck, though the centaur recovered first. "About this mermaid your bringing over here... does Milord know of this?"

"He should, I sent him an email about the renovations last night, but he must have missed it." Smith shrugged. "Also, this has been in the works since before Papi came here, so there's not a lot I can change at this point. I have people escorting her here, and I need to wait for Kimihito to come home so he can sign off on all the paperwork for the renovations. So till, I'll be enjoying the instant coffee here." She gets up and heads to the kitchen.

"Well, we made it to my house." Kimihito said as he pushed Mero up to the front of his house. She'd asked to make some odd turns, like through the park and occasionally through some back alleys suddenly, but they had made it here unharmed.

"Oh my, you're home looks lovely~" Mero said, putting her hands together with the groceries in her lap.

"This is my stop, but will you be okay on your own?" He asked, looking down at her. Before he could respond, a bunch of guys in black suits came running up to them, clearly out of breath.

"Mero!" One of them pants out. "You know you can't go out on your own! We had sooo much trouble finding you..."

"My most sincere apologies, but I simply had to get a peek at the town!" She said, bowing apologetically in her seat.

Kimihito took his groceries from her. "Well, It seems you have the people you need to get around. Hope to see you around some time." He stepped up to his front door... and was astonished at the amount of construction workers running about. He wanted to exclaim, but he was struck speechless.

"Welcome back, 'Darling'!" Ms. Smith looked over at him, toasting him with her mug of coffee. "We need you to sign for the construction."

Before Kimihito can reply, he feels the nudging of Mero in her wheelchair behind him. "Oh, I see I'm going to be staying with you, Beloved~" She said with a curtsey, lifting her long skirt for him to see her fishtail from beneath it.
