“I think we should just leave it for now and enjoy the rest of our day. If he’s at a bar I don’t think he’ll be changing venues for a while” you suggested, knowing the boredom was going to outweigh your anger in the situation.

You did briefly consider going over to your father’s car to see what you could see but it was almost certainly locked and if he had come here straight from his home you suspected there wouldn’t be anything incriminating in there for his ‘mistress’ to find.

Your comment made both Grace and Emma lower the binoculars they were holding and if you were planning on leaving this place for a while, the next question was where you all wanted to go.

“I’ve gone through my snacks already so if we could get a refill I’d be happy” Emma said, making you look down at the bag in front of her to see that she wasn’t lying.

All that was left was the stuff Grace had picked and only half of yours that Emma had sneakily already eaten while you had been distracted. Emma had been the one with less to do as she couldn’t keep a lookout and was just sort of along for the ride. Grace should have been in the same position but she seemed to have some stake in your spying and you were glad for the help.

“Well, if we are going to need food there is that mall I suggested yesterday, gives us a few options to pick from and we can always grab some snacks to eat when we are heading back to the car” you suggested.

“Sound like a plan to me. Emma get back up front” Grace replied.

Emma was mid nod at your idea before she clicked her tongue at her mom, climbing over the seat to get back to where she was earlier.

You don’t think you would have tried anything too suggestive with Grace right there but looking back, you had been a bit too close with Emma while she had been back here, your bodies basically touching each other constantly in one way or another.

Grace set off driving after you gave her the address to track. Emma put her hand down at the side of the chair again and while you were happy to accrue any additional time with the massive requirement for her level 5, the console at the front told you that you would be there quicker than you expected. You were already in the centre of town but it was still early enough that not everyone had woken up and clogged the streets yet.

Neither Grace nor Emma spoke first as they seemed to be thinking about the events of the morning but you didn’t want to dwell on it any longer. You found what you needed to know and all you wanted after that was some evidence to back up what you saw when you got back home.

“Is there anything you two want to go take a look at while we are there? I’m fine to just have a wander around but if you have something in mind that’s fine too” you said, getting their minds away from this morning.

“Hmm, we could try and see if there’s anything we can use for a more formal outfit if we wanna get inside that bar. I’m always up for clothes shopping” Grace replied, the option being a little more tempting if you could go inside with them.

A flash of inspiration struck you when you considered Grace going in again and you thought about going in undetected, the thought of checking a tech store to see if they had any sort of spyware you give to Grace when you realised the KDK already had something like that ready to be bought. Taking out your phone, you discreetly navigated to the menu you needed and read the description.

You had thought about getting this effect ever since it had been offered to you but there had been no practical use for it in your opinion. Your thoughts had gone immediately to spying on Rebecca outside of school hours and nothing else but now if you could find a way to get a perk point then that might change things.

Now that you were thinking straight about the perk, you realised it could be a potential solution to a lot of your problems and it had been under your nose all this time. Emma wanted you to start adding as many subjects as possible while you wanted to focus on building deeper connections with the few you felt were worthy enough to join the harem.

If you started adding subjects in some sort of second tier (putting your father as an NPG at a third tier or as low as the KDK could allow), then you could have a reliable way to gain xp and also have a weird network of spies that borrow vision from.

The description also didn’t say there was a cooldown unlike other perks such as limit breaker so you expected there to be a catch that you might find out after you bought it.

A plan was forming in your mind of what you could potentially achieve with this but all this relied on you getting another perk point and without relying on the chance of an achievement getting you one, you’d need to reach your next level up.

With very little progress made since you had levelled up on that night with Emma, you had a lot of progress you needed to make in one afternoon, and the fastest you could see that happening was to go on a registering spree, getting 10xp a person if there weren’t any other bonuses associated with them.

“...that okay Max?” a voice said, breaking you out of your thoughts.

“Uh yeah sure” you replied, straightening up to see Grace looking back at you through the mirror and you now had no idea as to what you had just agreed to.

You still needed to think on this more as it was an impulsive decision and that came with talking to Emma, although you were pretty sure what her response would be. While you were still aware of your surroundings you checked the console up front and realised you were basically at your destination only about a minute away before you got to the mall you had chosen.
