Emergency Call From a Clone.

Ethan then got another call, sighing, he picked up.

"Kenway speaking."

"Boss! Rebecca and Panam were taken by Arasaka!" A clone screamed through the phone.

"What?!" Ethan's eyes widened, he started to rush back to the studio where he placed the key back home. "Rebecca I get! She's been seen with me before and after I stormed Arasaka tower but why Panam?"

"I... May have been hanging around her more often... Just drinking and some flirting, I guess they saw us..."

"God fucking damn it!" Ethan growled as he sped through the streets and made it to the studio.

After a bit of sneaking, he was able to pass through the portal and back home.

"Where are you ?" Ethan walked to the elevator to his secret armoury.

"I'm driving Panam's ride to the meetup point, but if something goes wrong, I'll pop." The clone responded.

"Park and then pop yourself, I need everything you know." Ethan entered his armoury and hung up before he suited up.

After a few minutes, he got the clone's memories, blinking, he put his jacket back on and ran out.

Making it back to the doors, he rushed through and sped through Night City using his super speed.

Exiting the city he found Panam's ride just sitting outside in the desert and stopped right next to it.

"Arasaka bastards want me? They've got me." Ethan growled as he got into the vehicle and drove to the meeting place.

Ethan arrived at the sight and saw the number of vehicles along with multiple goons.

He stopped the car and placed his mask over his head

"Let's do this." Ethan got out and walked to Takamura who had a tied up Panam, who was upset and an **** Rebecca laying in front of him.

"Phantom Spyder." Takamura greeted. "It is an honor."

"I find it hard to relate considering the lengths you went through to get me here." Ethan looked at the goons around them with rifles and shotguns in hand.

"My employer simply wished to make you a deal." Takamura motioned to the closest guard who stepped forward. "Spyder." The man's voice was a bit... Gruff.

"Saburo Arasaka I assume?" Ethan questioned as he flexed his fingers.

"You are correct." The man Saburo hijacked nodded.

"... Let them go." Ethan ordered, his eyes on both Panam and Rebecca.

"We are offering you a deal, you will listen." Takamura said as he took his gun and pointed it at Panam's head who tried to jerk away.

"... Very well." Ethan crossed his arms.

"We will leave those closest to you alone." Saburo started. "If you tell us where you have obtained your cyberware and come with us willingly."

"... It's not cyberware." Ethan said. "It's just me."

"Then come with us, allow us to study your abilities." Saburo insisted. Ethan could hear the power hungry edge in his voice.

"... I'll give you an offer of my own. Walk away, never bother those who I interact with again or else." Ethan glared. His mask narrowing it's eyes.

"... Kill them."

Suddenly, blue chakra arms shot out and grabbed all the guards in a matter of seconds, a pair of chakra arms grabbed Rebecca and Panam, pulling them close to Ethan.

Once all the guards were bound by his chakra hands, Ethan walked up to Saburo. "One last warning... Walk away."

"..." Saburo looked around and then at his bodyguard who was struggling in the chakra hands.

"... Very well, but this isn't over." The body then convulsed then collapsed.

Ethan let go of Takamura and the rest... Well, a little squeeze took care of them.

Takamura took shallow breathes as he looked around.

"You can hunt me down, but going after them was a big mistake." Ethan glared and walked over to Panam, releasing her from her restraints and carried Rebecca back to the vehicle.

Panam watched the whole thing with wide eyes. This man was a monster... She followed after him after she snapped out of it.

The door opened and Ethan placed Rebecca in the back. "Let's head back." Ethan got in the passenger side, Panam got in and they drove off.

Takamura watched the vehicle drive away as he made a call.

Panam couldn't help but steal glances at Ethan in slight fascination.

Ethan had dropped by the Afterlife and mostly drank and chatted with her whenever she was there.

She had to admit he was persistent... Maybe an idiot with how goofy he was.

But seeing him take down those men showed that Ethan could handle himself.

"... Sorry you were brought into this." Ethan sighed as he pulled his mask off.

"I should've expected it." Panam responded.

Ethan looked at Panam. "If you were offered to leave Night City, would you?"

Panam paused before nodding. "I don't want to ever come back here." She answered.

"Well, come with me, I can leave and come back on a dime, no one can follow after me." Ethan offered.

Panam looked at Ethan. "... I don't buy it, what's the catch?"

Ethan bit his lip and sighed. "Legally you would become my **** but I'll give you freedom to do what you want, also you'll be my designated driver."

Panam looked at him. "Legally?" She questioned.

"It's very complicated, if you need time to think about it then I'll give you time." Ethan explained.

"... No one from Night City will be able to find me?" Panam asked.

"No one." Ethan confirmed.

"... And I just have to be your driver?" She raised an eyebrow. She expected more from all his flirting.

"You'll be my **** but also a driver." Ethan shrugged.

"... I shouldn't be surprised with how flirty you've been." Panam smirked.

"What can I say, you're my type." Ethan grinned.

Panam sighed. "Give me time to get my affairs in order and ... I'll take you up on your offer." She said.

"Really?" Ethan asked. "You can always come back."

"Well I don't want to come back to night city." She shot back.

"... Fair enough, let me just drop Rebecca off and I'll let you do what you need to do, contact me when you're ready." Ethan said as he leaned back, Night City coming to view.
