Memo to Scientist Supreme:

The Spider Virus, originally created by the Spider-Queen and the Jackel, was created to enhance the power of the former over the Web of Life and Destiny. To turn her into a goddess. It had three stages. Stage one, it gave the subject the power of Spider-man. Stage two, it caused them to develop spider elements: Spider limbs, fangs, claws, compound eyes, spider hairs. Stage three, caused them to become giant spiders or humanoid spider-monsters. The Spider-Queen was able to control those who had metamorphosed.

The original version of the virus was originally spread by bedbugs before it mutated into an airborne version. It also didn't seem to have the power to effect those with an altered genome, especially those linked with mystical energies.

We of AIM have figured that developing a method of giving subjects the power of Spider-man would be of great financial value. Minus the second and third stages. Using the Jackel's notes, samples of the virus, and elements of Spider-man and other Spider-beings DNA we have managed to create a virus which can fulfill those parameters. The modified virus we created has been shown to have the potential to infect those of altered genomes. It was created as an airborne variant, and we have been working to limit the infection period.

However, as AIM was shipping the virus, a few containers of the virus has gone miss. At least one container is still missing, and at least one containers has been exposed allowing the virus in the air of New York City. While not beneficial for our profit margins, it will prove an interesting testing field for the virus. Allowing to see if viral infection can be used as a vector of superpowers transmittion.

We will have to wait and see the effects.
