It began with Dreams..

The first effects of the virus was not what most would be expected. It started with dreams. Dreams of one Mister Peter Parker during in the infectious period of spread. Such dream was like the one below...

Peter was in some kind of temple, resembling a mix of classical greco-roman and a cathedral. He was sitting on a throne, before attended by many beautiful women which seemed to be familiar but couldn't remember when he woke up. They were wearing sexy body barring spider-web outfits. Attending his every need.

In the aisles, a collection of people and/or spiders were worshiping him and the women on the platform before them. Often, rituals would occur. Ritual orgies which involving Peter and the beautiful women.

Peter just figured it was some kind of kinky sex dream. Not noticing anything odd. Not even when people people started to wake up with the ability to stick things again. Or having superhuman strength and other physical abilities... again. As well as other spider-like abilities.

What these new spiders didn't know was they also developed a biological reaction to the pheromones of the source of their additional DNA. While all of them became more compliant to the Original Spider, it affected the sexes differently. With males becoming more submissive to him, while women became more sexually and romantically attracted to him.

And not one would immediately learn of the mystical effects all of these spiders would have on the Web of Life and Destiny as well as it's totem protector.
